I got my car tuned by Daniel of GarageLife at Luck 7 Racing this past weekend. I would like to thank Daniel for the Tune and Fris for letting us use the dyno.
I had a hunch that I'm having sequential issues, my boost pattern was 11-5-8 and sometime I would get 11-8-8, 11-5-5, or 11-8-10-8. I have already replace the CRV and I was hoping I was getting boost cut due to PFC basemap.
Here are the results
Final # at 8PSI due to Stock twin issue. Unfortunately It would not boost past 8psi.<br/>244rwhp.
I recently went single and highly recommend it. Doing so makes everything extremely simple while raising your power level tremendously. I agree with 7_rocket, don't bother with the 99 twins.
Don't let this discourage you from the twin turbos. There are some nice 99 spec turbos that come up for sale on the forum. Switch out the turbos and get it tuned again. I am not sure how much power you are looking to get but you can probably get a good 320whp with the 99 specs and stock port engine.

I fully agree with this. If you are worried about lag and street ability go with a smaller turbo. You will understand once its all done and everything is super simple under your hood.

I'm weighing out my options as we speak. Seems like going single is a wiser choice and less failing/problem points.

I'm not discourage, more like I see an opportunity to go single. My original goal (short term) on the stock twins was to at least hit 300rwhp. My long term goal is to hit high 300s to low 400s with fast response single.

I'm debating between a ASPEC GT3574 kit or BW 7670 EFR.

The simplicity of the single setup gave me peace of mind I never had when on the twins even when everything was working properly. You are much less likely to have turbo issues as you eliminate a large number of things that can fail and if issues do arise they are extremely easy to pinpoint and all the hardware is extremely easy to access.
As far as spool, I"m on a "mid-sized" turbo with the larger 1.0 housing and see full boost by 3800 rpm if I punch it at 3300. The feeling of the car going from 0 to 17 PSI in 500 rpms is pretty wicked and the single pulls like a freight train across the rest of the rpm range. That combined with the simplicity of the system is well worth the change, at least to me. 320 hp is fun with quick spooling twins, but 400+ with a spool that aggressive will have you smiling and your passengers needing new pants.

I agree with everything said. Get rid of that complex turbo system, less weight, less heat and less BS issues. Rats nest? No thanks!
Or you can always go non seq twins. I had that on my last FD
If you want to simplify more, get rid of all the EGR/emissions crap as well as the OMP and premix. Then you know exactly how much oil your engine is seeing and know it has full lubricating coverage rather than just down the center of the housing.
No update as of now, although I did splurge on some unnecessary accessories like the titanium hood prop, halfspec s2k antenna, and a nardi steering wheel. My priorities should have been towards fixing my FD.
Minor update!
10/7/16 - Ditching the twins and going single. Teaser pic should be coming soon.
YESSIR YESSIR YESSIR YESSIR. In your down time it appears you have made a wise decision.
I like how you put a lot of emphasis on important parts that most people either completely miss, do last, or halfass (like dual oil coolers and FFE motor mounts).

Are you going to be sticking with the power FC?

Thanks, looks like I might switch out the R2 oil cooler for SakebombGarage one. Thankfully I did the motor mounts, the stock one were busted. Most likely ditching the PFC for adaptronic PnP.

Can you say why you are looking at the adaptronic unit? And are you talking about one of the new modular ones or the older PnP model.
Looks like you've been planning big in the down time, I'm legit jealous of those gramlights. I'll be getting a Haltech PS1000 ECU and PnP harness as part of a package deal with a bunch of other stuff I'll be picking up in a month if you are interested. If you check out the haltech ecu manager software that runs it, I think you will be impressed. Its a solid setup and its proven.
You'll also be happy with those coils. I think that the IGN-1A coils were one of the best/easiest mods I've done in my entire build. It made everything from cranking and idle to cruise and hard boost run better.

hahaha thanks man I will definitely look into the Haltech PS1000 and possible options.
