Another FD Build Down Under JDM

Hey guys,

Thought I would create my own build thread (third time lucky!)

Just a little history, i've had my FD for about 6 years. Up and down relationship but certainly can never let it go.
Up until recently it was very uniquely modified, the scene in Australia is quite different to the rest. I'm going for an entirely different look, complet JDM with a white/carbon fibre combination.

My FD has been off the road for about 1 year due to issues with the Law (it's very hard to modify a vehicle in Australia, they will try to get you for all and anything and put your car off the road). After going through hell, i've decided to keep plugging away and change it up! My plans are below, most parts I already have purchased, just waiting for things to happen.

Plans are:

Engine:
Single Turbo conversion (t04z, HKS wastgate etc) - already purchased
Bosch - 1000cc Primary, 2000cc Secondarys, customer fuel rail - already purchased
Bosch Fuel Pump
Bosh Fuel Reg
New exhaust (unsure at this stage)
PFC - already puchased
Greddy Intercooler - already purchased
Intake
I'm sure there is more...
Ignition
Hoping to get around 370-400rwhp on the T04z but will see how we go

Exterior:
Full bare metal respray in Satin Pear White (STI WHITE)
Shave rear wiper etc
Standard body / aftermarket front bumper
Feed Carbon Fibre Side Steps - already purchased
RE PRO Disffuser - already purchased
Tinted/smoked lights
Drift Tek rims (may change in the near future) - already on the car
Guard work

Interior:
Bride Seats
Carbon Fibre dash peices
Standard interior trim
Few other little bits and peices!

The build has already started! The car has been in the workshop being sanded down getting it prep for paint

street port with a t04z @ 16psi should be around 410-430hp at the wheels. that turbo really is better at higher boost applications (18-25). my half bridge just put down 475 at 19psi (spike to 22 then down to 19) on a t04z

Where you live? Imma jack the carbon interior! Aussie supplier?

keep the updates coming. Any chance of previous photos?

I also know what you mean about the Police down here. My FD has been through EPA twice with the previous owner and a few defects. Best has been for "flames coming from rear exhaust". My old FC got taken off the road due to EPA aswell. Never managed to make it back. Im guessing your experiences are the same, seeing as its been off the road that long?

I'm based in Melbourne. All my Carbon Fibre products are purchased from an Aussie supplier based in Adelaide! His from the Aussie forum (FDRX7.com) all his products are made with very high quality stuff and great fitment.

Yeah, I dislike the police down here with a passion unfortauntely simply for their hatred they have for modified cars! I just want to enjoy my pride and joy but hey...

I like the way your going with this car. Was definately in need of an update to current times!

Just a quick update!

Car is pretty much all in primer... part of the car is prepped... still more to do but shouldn't be too far from paint!

Did you buy pre-made seat covers or was it all done by the upholstery shop (white wrapped seats)?

I would happily see police here lined up and executed military style.
