If i dont find another hatch without the holes I will get this one welded when I get ready to re paint the car in December.
You have pictures of the plugs? Where did you get them?

Here goes some updates guys I will post in a previous post and the work Ihave done, but for now enjoy.

Installed the 6 point Autopower bolt in cage I got it from phantom works magazine featured fd. Stripped it down and gave it a fresh coat of sunrise red.

Finally after 19 months of searching Reisen Imports found my wheels and snagged them up for me. Took my 18x11 +22 and 18x10 + 22 Work equips to Olympic powder coatings and they hooked me up big time on satin black. Of course I did all the work remoing and building the wheels back up. That was fun.

And the best part I am from florida but since I am stationed in california I had the fd registered in cali for a while but now the car looks like a full out race car and it gets unwanted attention so I registered it in FLORIDA BABY. Now more boost and power coming up.

Got a lot help from my sponsor, REISEN IMPORTS and a few buddies last couple of month and I owe it to them.

Alex,
First off, I want to say "Thanks" from a veteran to a recent vet! Hopefully there will be only peacetime deployments for you from here on out. Second, Nice job! Love the details in all of this! I just stumbled onto this thread, I have been away from the RX7 community for a few years myself, but the level of detail and attention you have put into the car is awesome! Love the black powdercoated Equips! Have a set of Meister's on my Esprit, my question is this! How do you have them so far out to the fender in the rear and so close to the arch opening without rubbing? I saw earlier in the writeup that you rolled the fender, but the 11" wide wheel I would suspect would contact the arch opening. What did you do to prevent this from happening? I have 10" wide stern meshies on my FD but I haven't rolled the fender yet, what's the secret? Thanks.
Art

Thanks Art

In the rear I had rolled the inner lips flat to clear the rubbing and thats it for the rear. For the front I blew my fenders out due to the rubbing so I rolled them flat inwards too. I also removed the upper front fender bolt and bent the tab in so it didnt rub on turns.

I also get minor rub at full lock but nothing to be alarmed about. I did have to stretch the tires wich I dont like doing but I am not racing no time soon I will keep it like that. Hope that helped.

Looking good, i was worried about my 18x10 +25 fitting in the back but now i know they will fit! One more thing it looks like your wheels are on the wrong side.

What tire sizes are you running front and back? I'm running a 18x10 +18 in the rear with a 265/35. I rolled and very slightly pulled the rear quarter panel, and I'm still getting some rubbing. I need to pull it about another 1/4".
