Yes, its a used Nascar radiator. If youre interested in one, shoot a PM to Logan. I know he has some ins into a source for used stock car stuff.

Ive recently had a few PMs with questions regarding my T5 transmission and gear ratios. Obviously with the car not being done yet, I have no first hand experience with driveability of the transmission, or noise. I will be sure to address those questions as soon as I get some seat time. Ive also been asked for gear ratios, so Ill post the ratios I had chosen:

1: 2.92
2: 1.99
3: 1.34
4: 1.00
5: 0.80.

Assuming my tire size of 255/35R18 with a 25" Diameter, 4.30 Rear end and an 8500rpm rev limit, top speed in each gear will be:

1: 50MPH
2: 74MPH
3: 110MPH
4: 147MPH
5: 184MPH

I am finally getting a chance to post up pictures, this is just a few. More will be downloaded real soon

OH NO! Someone cut Lennys whole rear end out! Ah, nevermind that is just to install the small lightweight fuel cell

These heavy bits had to go too, all making room for lightweight hang pedals. This car is a careful blend of race parts in a street/track car. Hasnt been easy to pull off, but its turning out perfect.

Its coming together . Those reservoirs going to clear the hood, or are we going to need to add some speed holes?

And you are correct about the careful balance of street car and track car. Its hard to do. As Im sure alot have found out, the more track oriented you make a car, the less street friendly it becomes. My original plan was to build something reminiscent of a 911 GT3-RS, but I think Im leaning more toward the side of a GT3 Cup car. Which Im cool with

You should think about getting this unit for your 3 rotor. Nice build

Online Store - Xcessive Manufacturing

^ The Xcessive LIM is no doubt a nice piece, but there will be a full custom ITB manifold setup build for this. Hopefully in the not so distant future.

Yeah the hood skeleton above the reservoirs will need some removal. Who doesn't love a GT3 cup car? Haha

Obviously Ill need to actually drive it a bit to see how everything feels, but yea probably will need a widefoot pedal extender.

From what I was told the slide throttles are tested and its a go for my manifold. Thanks for the compliments, its been a long time in the making and I cant tell you how excited I am to actually get it back and start driving If I wasnt so financially drained by this already, I think Id buy some coke and secretly dust it over Logans shop so he wouldnt have to sleep and would build faster

LOL, try Adderal, it's cheaper and easier to get. You can even give him the extended release so he's going all day and night.

So the epic unicorn has finally been caught. Here are Lennys Rotors ready to get balanced (plus another set that are not Lennys of course)

So more pics of the cell getting mounted

Cell can be seen if you get down on the ground. The plastic rear valance isn't on either, but a keen eye would know Lenny's car isn't your typical one

Very happy to see those rotors Logan, though I'm hesitant to breathe any sigh of relief until they are back from balancing With all thats gone on with them so far, I wouldn't be surprised if they were to get stolen from the UPS truck by armed bandits on horseback..

What does this modification to the rotors do? Any cons to this?

Thanks

Scalloping / beveling the rotors allows you to open up the intake port a bit earlier, increasing port timing. Basically allowing for the effect of a larger port, without ectually having a larger port. Downsides.. well Ive never personally ran an engine with scallops (Rx8 rotors have a small one from the factory just FYI), but Logan tells me it may make the idle a bit more lumpy. As with larger ports, I guess thats a given.

Got it. Thanks.

Can the rotors be "lightened" too after Scalloping or is it not possible to do both?

Do a lot of places offer this? For instance rotary r resurrection?

Is there a place that I can just bye balanced and scalloped roters somewhere, similar to how you can buy high compression/low compression pistons from a company?
