93 Base 20B GT42R Project PART 4... Time to Get Serious...
#55
Just got my custom fuel cell in. Its an RCI 14 gallon fuel cell with a custom sender unit so that I can use my stock fuel gauge. Instead of buying a ~5 gallon fuel cell for the methanol tank, I am having a custom made. There are two reasons for this. First, a 5 gallon fuel cell will not fit. I would have to use a 3 or 3.5 gallon cell. Second, I can have it made to an odd shape so that it will be large enough and not hit my exhaust.

Update: I haven't really done anything else because RCI lost my order for my custom 14 gallon fuel cell with a Mazda compatible fuel sender. It should be here any day now - Hopefully. I got these bad boys in today. My camera was dead so I took a shitty cell phone pic. The wheels are Billet Specialties Street Lite wheels. Here are the part numbers:
Billet Specialties RS035356517N 15" x 3.5" Street Lite Wheel (2)
Billet Specialties RS035106555N 15" x 10" Street Lite Wheel (2)
Also, I got these tires to mount on the above wheels:
Hoosier 522-18102 25” x 5.0 – 15” Drag Fronts Tires (2)
Hoosier 26” x 11.5 – 15” Quick Time Pro Drag D.O.T. Tires (2)
I will get some better pics soon but check out the lip compared to a dollar bill.

I should be getting that this summer. I will tell the specs when it is built. It will have the 12.7mm Kiwi Stud Kit. Probably going with a very large street port and a custom intake manifold with 3 fuel rails. RX7Store or Defined Autoworks will most likely build the block.

IDK, I just like the look of slicks and skinnies on a car. I think it makes it look mean. Plus I bought/built this car with one goal in mind ---> 1/4 mile drag racing. Also, most of the fast mustang and camaro guys at the STL meets run slicks and skinnies all the time too.
