92 JDM Type R "Sakura"

What is up everybody.

Little about myself. Blah Blah Blah I had three FC's a while back. I just recently got an FD that I picked up about 3 months ago. I plan on taking her to the local tracks and possibly Tsukuba later this summer.
I have been mostly gathering interior pieces and random parts. My goal for this car is to just have a clean and fun car that I can take to the track or just drive around town.

This weekend I finished up fixing the rust behind the rear hatch and the previous owner installed a Mazdaspeed wing and decided to poorly plug the holes in the trunk. That being said every time it would rain I would have a puddle in my hatch. I removed the hatch and decided to go wingless for a while.

Here are some parts I installed last weekend
Powdercoated LRB under tray

ARM Trans Brace

Banzai Racing Diff Brace

So had a short weekend due to work. Also went to the track with my bike so didn't have much time to get work done. I did manage to remove the down pipe and get a bung welded up for my AFR gauge.

I unfortunately broke a bolt off in the turbo housing so now the turbo's have to come off so I can remove the broken bolt.

Here is a picture of my Drakes gauge pod. I'm going to fill the other hole with a Speedhut boost gauge once I get rid of the other one.

Had a bung welded on by a local guy and Im pretty impressed by his work.

Little update:
Took her to the track in august after she passed JCI. Powder coated many of the engine bits to ink black and some with a red disco flake. Im trying to get rid of all the blue "crap" every where. Also installed some Auto Exe bracing, racing beat sway bars and an EWP.
