Hey guys,

I figure I would make a build thread about this FD I am going to be going through. I recently purchased this FD that was owned by a member on here back in 2011. Since then, it was sold by him to his friend where it sat and the sold. The it was traded for a muscle car and sat awaiting a LS swap and that never happened, so it was sold again. Non-rotary guy gets it to flip and that I when I got it.

As the years passed by and nobody essentially touching it since it was built, the car was pretty intact. Apparently all these owners never took a look through the car and saw what it really had in it or even to find the original guy who built it. There was a folder with receipts in the car and I was able to find the owner who built the car. Some of you who are on the FB groups might of seen the car and with the way the market is, I took it down and decided to fix all the odds and ends it needed.

I am going to be going through this whole car as soon as the weather gets a bit warmer. Had to get the door locks fixed since the key cylinders were stiff, so that’s all good now.

All fluids will be changed. Going to use OEM FL22 because the coolant threads confused the heck out of me. Belts. Inspect all SS hoses.

The car was shipped to me but the shipping company broke the bumper so I am going to be doing a OEM 99 spec bumper on it. Power steering has a leak from a hose off the snake line so that’s going to be addressed. Belt molding clips will be replaced. I figure some would be interested in the “build” so I made this thread.

I have some questions if anyone can help. Does anyone know what battery could be used up front with the Defined Autoworks Kit? I believe a PC680 could fit but maybe someone else has a kit. I am sure I will have more questions, so if anyone could help that would be great.
