I'm curious as to what made you decide on the ProEFI.
I've a PFC right now but I've been thinking when I do upgrade, it'll be an adaptronic when I want to run higher boost and have it control the water/meth.
I've always been curious about E85 and wanted to test the waters. The ecu can basically do anything I need it to it just what sensors you want installed $$$ so it gets pricey.
The other leading factor is the guy I spoke with had great success with the unit on another rx7 plus he's a reputable shop and local so if anything went wrong I don't have to go far. The only down fall is it gets expensive.
So.. I've been back at the project again making headway on the fuel system. I'm running -10 as a feed and -8 as my return which will feed 2x ID850 Primaries and 4x ID2000's Secondaries in a eXcessive LIM with FFE fuel rails. I've got to say the only thing better then quality of FFE rails is their customer support. Billy has been a huge help.
I pulled the rear to free up some space for routing fuel lines, etc. so I had the rear sub frame along with all the control arms powder coated, and rebuilt with OEM bushings and pillow *****. I decided to ditch the factory Torsen diff and went with a KAZZ 1.5 w/ stock gearing. the diff cover and housing were also powder coated. I'll get more pics of the rear as it gets closer to being done.
I also decided to break down and stop loading my car onto a 7ton equipment trailer.. I bought a trailer for my car.. I feel that every rotary owner should have one. Haha
Very nice. Powder coating and rubberized coating of the wheelwells and other details like that result in a car that looks better and works better longer. I was surprised that I liked the dark purple. Looks good. Also, love the 20b in your Rx8. The plenum is especially nice. Did you make it?

I was surprised I liked it too. Purple wasn't in the plans but my guy who powder coats showed me it, my girlfriend liked it and you know how that goes. I think I'm done with the purple because I'm just using it as an accent, but I'm undecided on what to do with the UIM, and LIM... Powder coat, Polish, etc. any suggestions?
I wish I could build that plenum l. I have a guy locally that welds for me.
Just a few pics of the rear suspension components, subframe, diff housing/cover before everything gets pressed in.
I had my manifold, down pipe, and turbo jet hot coated, and I went with Jet Hot 2500, hopefully it holds up I've heard mixed reviews.
My down pipe and hot side of the turbo will be wrapped in an inconel, it's expensive but I heard it works.. We'll see.
Can't have too much heat protection.

I like the purple powder coat. It all looks very nice.
I see you got the differential cover coated already. Did you know you could use the rx8 cover as an upgrade with more cooling? It had a heat sink that hangs into the airflow.

I have heard of guys using rx8 differentials because the housings are stronger, but that's about it.. I didn't hear about swapping covers.. With that.. Powder coated purple FD diff cover f/s
Picked up all the bearings and seals for the diff. Along with the bushings, pillow *****, etc. for the rear from the dealer. That got expensive.. Fast
The Aeromotive A1000 I bought has -6 ports on it and I felt like that wasn't enough for my goals. So, I bought the new Aeromotive X1 that has 3x -8 ports on it and can flow a ton of fuel. I haven't used it yet, but I test fit it today and I'm happy with how it looks, hopefully it performs.

I spent some time today working with the SakeBomb Ignition kit. The instructions are good, but I didn't like having two connectors.. That did the same thing, so I cut them off and soldered them together leaving just one plug incase I ever had to remove the ignition harness for some reason.
I really need to get that kit, but after the rebuild and with a baby on the way its a bit out of my price range! I love your attention to detail, even down to the bolts!

It's a very clean install with minimum work i haven't fired them up yet but it's definitely clean. Thanks, for the compliments.

I finally got everything ran to the back(including the battery), and it definitely frees up some room.
I had a chance to grab a pic of my Kaaz before the diff cover was bolted on. I'm souped to finally put the rear together.
Progress of the battery relocation.
Nothing special.. Just thought it looked cool.

Worked on the rear until 2am last night and got the rear finished up.
All the fuel lines cleared the sub frame and the fuel filter is easily accessible. Surprisingly the rear went in easy, it's just very heavy. Thank god for ATV Jacks.
