It's coming along. It's genuine Alcantara. If I went with the generic micro suede, I'd probably get about a year of use before it started to fade.
Hopefully I'll have some major updated in the next couple of weeks. I'm still here waiting on parts to come in.

Thanks, I appreciate the motivation. It might be a little slow going because everything else that was purchased still has about a month left before shipment. I will be going to look at a new motor this weekend, so things will be getting a little more interesting.
Just in case you haven't attempted it yet. The old ones are an extreme pain to remove! I think it took me about two hours to remove them correctly and get all of the glue off.
Why those HVAC graphics? I wouldn't put a rocket bunny kit on this car. To each his own but that thing is fugly man
Those graphics because my original ones were already beat up and wouldn't survive my restoration. As for the Rocket Bunny, some days I like it, and some days I don't. I'm purposely leaving the body work for the last part of this build so that I can decide what I want to do.

They're not so much graphics anyway. More like replacement pieces. It makes a huge difference in the HVAC panel if you're doing a serious overhaul like DgtlWar.

Thanks. All I'm doing now is sanding and painting any exposed metal in the interior with rust. Pedal brackets, steering column, etc.
Finally removed the heater core. I would have done it a long time ago, but it looks like it was last installed when the motor was out. All the clamps were inward facing making it almost impossible to remove the hoses.
The 13B is disconnected and ready to be pulled. I have a pretty good lead on a 20B. I should be picking it up in a few weeks if everything works out. (This will prolong the build even further).
I've been wanting to do a suede interior for the longest time, but I've always been concerned with "will it fade" and "how hard will it be to keep clean", and "will it look right". I want to cover all the parts you're covering, save for maybe the kickpanels. Are they putting padding on the hard plastics first or just sticking the suede right to it? Where did you get the material? I think suede covering all the soft parts would look so good if it's done right, like a Lambo inside lol. I can't wait to see yours when it's finished.
Austin, are you the one doing the work on the interior? I might have to send you my pieces next lol.

I swapped Speedhut and SPA gauges into my cluster. It was kind of a nightmare too lol. But it came out pretty good I think.
Please tell me you're planning on using that shift **** in this build. You said that's from your old car, right?

The material I'm using, "Shouldn't" fade. I've seen a few Integra Type R's on the road and the interiors still look decent. I figured I'd do everything that's hard plastic just to keep the look consistent. Right now the interior is going to be three different blacks. If I don't like the assembled look, black #3 will be converted to the second one.
Yep, Austin is doing the work for me. I know what I can and can not do nicely, I'd practice if it was a different car lol.
Yeah she loves the garage, but she's getting to the age when helping out with screwdrivers might cause damage to the car. So far nothing serious. I have another girl due in December, so I'm trying to get as much done as possible before then.
The wood **** is now a paperweight for my desk. It would be cool if I could incorporate it, but I don't think it will go with the look I'm aiming for.
