Who knows FORTUNEBV? Help please!

I have paid over 5000 $ to this man for over three months ago and still not yet received the engine and tranny he sold me. Now he doesn’t reply to my PM or email anymore.

Anyone have a phone number or some contact info for this man.

I paid him through PayPal and after he received the money I haven’t heard much from him.

Can someone please help me out here?

Erik

I hate to hear that. If you get it squared away with him and he refunds you I will gladly ship to Norway, I actually have a couple times already.

Good luck getting this sorted out. I imagine a lot more of this stuff will start happening with the current economic state around world.

Here is the thread he posted,

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-rx-7-1993-2002-parts-99/fs-brand-new-13b-motor-w-tranny-764342/

I also have a lot of PM and E mails about the deal we agreed for shipping etc.
I paid for the engine 30. jul. 2008 through paypal.

Shipping from the export dock in New Jersey was around $460.00 US last I remember. This was back last March or April when I last shipped to Norway, so he cant really say shipping was insane. I think the total from TN to Norway was around $650.00

Good luck with it.

He posts as user Ninja Clan at www.houston-imports.com/forums

Looks like he is on there every day... Maybe you should contact the staff there about making a thread, I'm sure this wouldn't look good for his "baller" status he tries to front.

No harm intended, just trying to get your attention. Which as we can all see has worked.

As a fellow community leader I think we can both agree on the importance of keeping up images for ourselves and for our members.

Now that your aware of the issue I'm sure things will be worked out amicably and quickly between you two.

FWIW - Brent if this is just a misunderstanding I will make sure that anything negative is negated. I find no pleasure in taking part in this adventure, I'd rather be goofing off in the lounge or out enjoying the day driving the 7. I hope you understand.

Can you shed some more light on this email between you and Erik? This was over two months ago.

Hey Erik, sorry for the late reply. Apparently I still owe them money and its still sitting at the dock. The price that I paid over the phone isnt what it should have been according to them. Unfortanetlly I cant do anything right now because im still offshore, and wont be back till the 25th of oct. I would assume jus to refund you, the price their demanding is way more than im willing to pay to ship. I didnt realize international shipping would be such a pain! ill talk to you on the 26th to resolve this, thanks-bv
PS- As far as the baller comment it was 3am and I had spent 20 minutes drooling over the SENBOU widebodies. If you guys aren't "baller" I don't know who is. That wasn't meant as a knock, but rather as to underscore how insignificant a couple hundred dollars shipping would be to guys who blow more money on spare tires.

hey guys,

is there any way we can clarify this?
This is BIG BS, I can vouch for this guy I help'd him with the shipping preperations and putting the motor on the pallet, wich was shipped on Oct.13 2008.
But according to the email the seller sent on 4 october, the pallet had been shipped out prior to that date.

Please understand, I am only trying to clarify the matter, as we have had plenty of people in similar situations make claims that didnt add up. I am not making any accusation here, as i do not know either the buyer or seller. i am only trying to get through the information thats been posted. also, fortunebv, I can appreciate that you want to handle the matter without further questioning by the mods here, but I must ask that you please respect the fact that we must look after things here, and this is a rather large sum of money. Believe me, when this is cleared up, I will be first in line to thank you and to back you in the future, but our job here is to see these things through for both sides. either way, thanks for replying so quickly and coming forward to handle this! I work in the petrochemical industry, and am familiar with offshore work, so I definitely feel your pain there, so to speak.

Please advise when this has been handled, thanks very much.

oh, so this has been delivered already?

and again, I really appreciate that youre handling it, but please understand that we as moderators need to keep up-to-date on these kind of threads. This is in no way an attack or accusation of any kind against you, but we do need to stay informed on the events of this section. And we really do appreciate your cooperation!! Sometimes we have to try to track people down and so on....Thanks for keeping us informed!

Late to the party, but I got the seats I ordered from him. He even sent another one when FedEx lost the first one.

So what happend with the engine? Was it deliverd by fedex or not? They should be able to figure out where it is with the tracking number. And if it's gone then someone at fedex has stolen it.

Id recomend to send the other engine with Jetcarrier, and ship it with a boat. Shipping for a engine and transmission will then cost about 200 USD.
