So I ordered a Celica TRD spoiler from wooddashexperts.com (direct link http://www.wooddashexperts.com/custo...&cat=0&page=1).

However, when I received it, it was totally different.

As you can see,
1) the wing is significantly lower,
2) the pedestals aren't even at the right angle,
3) the wing is curved
4) there is no LED 3rd brake light.

I gave them a call, and the guy (John) who was working the phone insisted that it was the same exact item, even though it was obvious that the item only had a roughly similar style. I asked to get it exchanged for the correct one, but he kept stating that the item was non-returnable and non-exchange because it came pre-painted. The best I was able to get out of it was for him to check back in with the manufacturing dept., but I doubt anything will come out of that. I've already filed a report with the BBB, so I'll be waiting on that. Should I take them to small claims court, or something? I wouldn't have minded as much if the spoiler actually fit on the car, but it would even fit on a Celica, which was what he kept insisting.

they probably sent you the wrong part.
send pics to prove it
include picture they advertise on website
document everything in case they change up the website on you

either that or you just got pwned by TRD vs. "TRD style"

Sent them pictures, which they said showed that the items are the same (wtf?).
Couldn't find a real TRD celica spoiler (short of off a parted car), plus those things are so expensive.

you're going to want to save that response, which is ridiculous
the wings look nothing alike

you could possibly take them to small claims over it
you don't need a lawyer to do this, but it helps

Just gave them another call, and it turns out (after talking to the manufacture) that the manufacturer sent me the wing for the Cobalt. Prepaid shipping also included. Thumbs up for the manufacturer (not so much for the reseller since they didn't even bother to call me on the update).
