This scam buyer David Puentes actually followed through and filed a chargeback with his bank/credit card back in mid-May, who then came back to me and held back the $650, meanwhile the customer still held the parts. Until today I have been without the funds (or the parts, obviously). Worse yet, the customer's bank makes the decision on who is right and who gets to keep the money...seems like a conflict of interest to me.
Apparently, the banks can get in a huge hurry to take their money but get in no hurry to give it back or make a decision. Finally, today, two months later, I was notified that the customer's bank found in my favor and released my funds.
I hope some of you may spread the word in other groups and forums about this scam buyer so that other sellers are not taken advantage of by him. I'm posting on the forum and in groups to "let others know of my experience dealing with his scam" as he threatened to do to me.
This is a bummer, sorry to hear about the trouble the buyer has caused you. Imo you've been more than patient and made the terms perfectly clear before the transaction was completed.
