Turns out, I wasn't able to send the core engine as we planned due to unforeseen issues on my end.. At the end of Jan/Feb I told RotaryWarehouse/Steven that I had issues, etc and I'd be in touch.. sent an email in March and April (should have called but didn't, my fault) w/o response. Now here it is, end of April, no communication from Steven (which I honestly blame BOTH of us - me and him for that), no engine, nada..
I'm not really sure how I think about this situation and how its turning out but I've had a few calls over the last 3 or 4 months from members & non-members asking about RW/Steven and my experience with 'em. I'm 110% honest with those who ask (even one recent member wanted info on RW/Steven)..
my comments were
-I think he meant well but we both dropped the ball a few times
-If he was local, *most likely* would not have an issue at all
-Gave me a very good feeling as to wanting to work with me / solve issues, etc.
now i understand RW's primary (if only) engine builder quit, shop is/was/will be closing,etc..
hell at this point - I think RW ought to meet me half way and refund half the cost of the engine and call it a day - fat chance.
To Steven/RotaryWarehouse -
I do not have your info anymore - old emails were purged,etc...
Please contact me - I'd like to wrap this bad engine / bad port job up on a good note. I'd settle to just meet in the middle - refund half the cost of the engine and i'd move on on a good note.
I've still got the engine in a sealed engine-bag if anyone cares to see ;x
$4k Stage4 ported by a 6 year old ;x

I'd say sorry to hear that, but it's a good idea to get the info from the seller, and take it to the company like you eventually did, but first.
I don't think its RW's fault that it happened, because it was bought second-hand, just a lesson to be learned I guess.
Sorry to hear about that, hopefully you can get it all sorted out soon!

RW hasnt done anything for me at all - nothing. We did talk about it though.. As of now, RW/Steven hasn't replied to my emails.
The porting, bad internals ,etc IS their fault. If the org-buyer took the engine home and pinged the crap out of it, wouldn't change the awful porting or lack of corner seals, etc.
On top of that, I got the feeling that they've closed up shop anyhow.

You didnt buy anything from rotary warehouse. They owe you nothing! The guy who you bought the motor is the one that should be refunding you.
