I purchased a body kit from R33Skyline and it was supposed to be in mint condition and primed. the body kit comes and there is a 10 inch crack down the front and center part of the front bumper. The inner part where you attach it to the car was all broken and the guy actually tried to fix this with bondo! On the driver side wheel well part you could tell that it had been rubbing on his tire for some time. The side skirts came and the back end of one them had a hole the size of a golf ball filled with bondo for a quick fix. But I have to give it to the guy everything did come primed...he spray bombed over the red paint without any prep to the paint. The primer was chipping off and it was a half *** job all over. Now on to the spoiler. I take it out of the box and of coarse it is exactly the same as everything else, spray bombed primer, shitty job and He doesnt send me any mounting hardware. I got the stands and the end pieces, no trunk mounts or the screws needed to put it all together. Then I call him and he says he would look for everything and ofcoarse he doesnt get back to me. The front bumper was supposed to come with canards and I was supposed to get a rear bumper aswell. These items still have not arrived and I payed the guy over 2 months ago now. He says fed ex has them but he will not give me a tracking number or the date he sent the package(needed for fed ex to find the package). I talk to the guy and we come to an agreement that he will give me a partial refund to make up for no bumper and canards, he says give me a little time. I gave him 11 days and then start calling and emailing him and get no response. So like anyone else I get fed up and file a dispute with paypal and they say to work it out with the guy its not worth filing a dispute. No sooner than I shut paypal down and check my email the guy has sent me a response. It turns out he got an email from paypal telling him I tried to file a dispute and then he decides to say to me that he was trying to be a nice guy and its all fed ex's fault and its in my hands now. So with no way of tracking the package (i know there isnt one) Im just out a couple hundred dollars. I have learnt that I am not the only person to get scammed by this guy. It should make you wonder when nothing he sells is cheap!

 

That sucks...hope you get some sort of resolution to it all. Was condition stated in the original ad? You might have a case if he stated "perfect condition" or something like that.

 

It's time we got the accused involved and hear the other side of the coin.

apparently he scammed a guy on a rx8 and that's what his current project is.

the guy traded cars with me and handed me over a stolen car and parted out mine and sold it off.

How about applying for credit cards and have them sent to his home. As long as we never see them would it be legal? To my knowledge, if you apply for credit, your score drops a little bit. Would applying for then under his name and address be illegal?

Would be funny to see him open his mailbox and have 50-100 different "you've been denied" letters

No insurance help. I spoke to ANOTHER person on the phone who he scammed. Someone from Utah who bought a car over the internet yet again, and wired him the money, and he took it and ran...

So sad.
