Are the mod's waiting for him to pay off his debts before you ban him??? I do not understand why he is still around and selling after countless claims against him.

 

USPS does not have tracking services, they have a delivery confirmation service that simply notes when a package/item was shipped and when it was delivered.

 

WTF? The USPS Site says my item was accepted in Decatur, IN on September 12th and it was supposed to be sent LAST Wednesday...to florida?!?!?!?!?

Nice...seriously. Apparently my paypal complaint is going to have to be upgraded. Where I get everything shipped to is a Fedex store and I have two business boxes there...in four years I've never NOT received a package and I run roughly a 1/2 dozen businesses through those boxes...this is going to be interesting.

I bought a FC filler neck off him so I could remove the AST on my FD. I paid him and he said he'll mail the package out in a day or two and provide me with a confirmation number. I get no confirmation number after 5 days and I contact him on AIM. He said he had family problems and couldn't get it out. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and said "OK". 3 more days pass and I still don't have a confirmation number. I attempt to instant message him on AIM, but he has blocked me! I instant message him on another screen name, telling him I am unhappy.... he ignores it. I then sent an e-mail to him saying “If I do not receive a confirmation number in 24 hours, I will file a paypal dispute, and then a credit card charge back." I get no e-mail response and open a paypal dispute.THE DAY AFTER I OPENED A PAYPAL DISPUTE, HE SHIPPED MY FILLER NECK AND PROVIDED A CONFIRMATION NUMBER! I closed the paypal dispute after receiving the filler neck and confirming it was in good condition and haven't spoke to him since.

Why isn't he banned yet?

The best part, after his long delay, I left him a voicemail on September 1st asking him where my springs were, since he hadn't told me anything about them. I stressed that I needed the springs here that day since I had an autocross coming up. No answer. I told him that if they weren't here today, that the springs were useless to me and that he could keep them and give me a refund instead.

I still don't hear anything from this guy until two weeks later when he pops up on the forum finally and makes a few posts. That's when I decide to open a paypal dispute and claim. The day after I open the claim, I get a tracking number that doesn't work for a whole week. Now, I pm'ed him, and he said, when I sent my first pm telling me I didn't need them, that he had already dropped the springs off for shipping. I didn't know that USPS took a week and a half from Indiana to New York.

I haven't heard back from him now, and I haven't gotten my springs since they were sent to my tuner who's three hours away from me. I've politely asked him to accept a return and to refund my money, but I haven't heard back from him and I doubt I will.

Someone seriously needs to discipline this guy so he doesn't take further action against loyal forum members.

So I finally got my S5 Manual console in about 6 weeks after the fact. There was at least an attempt at trying to pack it in packing peanuts but the box was a little too small and a piece of the plastic covering the console broke. I'll replace that with the one that I have I guess since I don't want to have to deal with this joke anymore.

That seems to be a commonplace shipping timeframe here, which is fine if the seller is notified as you do (your fan base here is a testament to your integrity in parts sales & other work). I've found sellers on other car forums I belong to tend to ship parts faster for some reason. I recently got a set of pushrods in <24 hours after I paid, and this was with ground shipping.

I think many issues arise when the buyer pays right away i.e. 1~2 hours after the deal is confirmed and then hears nothing from the seller for 3-4 business days. Time is in the perception of the beholder, some buyers consider taking a week to pay OK, and some sellers also consider this a reasonable time frame to ship. I've never offered FS/agreed to sell something that was not ready to be boxed or crated, and I pay for parts in <24 hours.

Gringo Grande I'm not sure if you got your parts from the seller or not... in the OP, you mentioned a gauge cluster, and in a later post you mentioned a poorly packaged console. It seems like you got what you paid for 6 weeks later and it was broken? It sucks you have to put up with this crap.

Couldn't agree more. I often have to wait for a translation, and even my kid knows how to use the free "Check Spelling" button.

What you are saying is that luketech sold you a TPS 2 years ago. You now have sold that same TPS to tooshort88 and tooshort88 has stated that it does not work?

 

my 1st transaction ever on the forum and paypal was with luketech

i asked for a S4 n/a starter, tps, and a complete sunroof.

the tps, and starter looked worse than what i had on car and the complete sunroof was just the panel. I paid 125$ for this and he refused to take it right back, after having it posted in his ad, full refunds if not happy. I would of taken a complete sunroof and be done with it, but he almost ruined my entire future interactions with rx7club.com at that point.

also, I told him i needed parts immediately, and he said it would be here in a week.I waited 3 weeks for this crap. I tested the starter and it was dirty and spinning slow[dragging/not engaging], i never tested the tps.


Unlike luketech, i am taking care of tooshort88 without any problems, i will test the next tps i send to him. I have been through so many cars and parts, i didn't remember that part came from luketech, i thought i threw it out.

I recently saw your sticky about bad sellers list and want to thank you for that, I feel that some of the mods are right on top of issues now, I continue to buy and sell, with 99% good results. Also some of the members are looking out for each other and that helps alot.
