First, I am glad that you got refunded. A lot of times, the person just stops responding. Glad that worked out for you.
Now, on to this issue of his ban.....the kid made a deal with you that he would refund your money if you would unban him, from what you sent me. That isnt how it works. He legitimately owed you that money, and him setting a condition on the refund like that is not acceptable in my book.
I sent him messages asking for his response....he did not respond to you, me, the thread, or anything else. In fact, he flaunted his choice to ignore this by asking that the mods close his FS thread. I gave him multiple opportunities to make right, or even to simply discuss this. He blew them all off. Think about this--if you steal a man's car, but you return it to him once you're caught, dont you still have to face the charge? Then, even when you had him caught by speaking with his dad, he STILL tried to lie about it and keep your money. That is a person we do not need on this forum and CERTAINLY not in these classifieds.
I'll tell you this too--I own a business. I have a wife and children. I play in a band. I help to run other forums aside from this one. We moderators have lives of our own, and are busy enough without inviting someone back who was legitimately banned, and that we would have to watch constantly to make sure they dont repeat this mess with someone else. He had more than enough opportunity to prevent his ban. He blew it off. I dont take that lightly. What happens if we bring him back? Then the next time, someone else is gonna have to call his dad just to get their money back? Sorry, not having it.
I appreciate what your are saying, but we have seen several people who were once helpful on this forum, and then they turn to something like this. We give them the same chances to make right. If you have to hunt them down and get their daddy involved, then they are not the people we want or need on this forum. That is totally unacceptable and he had more than enough time to do better than that.
if he wants to discuss this further, then he can contact me himself rather than trying to speak to me through you. He can email me at skydivr7673@yahoo.com if he does. But as it stands now, the ban stays.
