my little 2 cents:
There aren't too many guys that have the connections/money/time/passion to obtain parts that people like ramy and brian get for us. Personally, i count my blessings that those guys are around.
When i had my porsche 914, the junkyard was pretty much the only option for rare, hard-to-find parts. There is no one is importing interior parts and front lips overseas for a bunch of people they never met.

See he is still alive and working on your stuff. This dude basically does customer service for tons of people by himself. Everyone needs to calm down..lol. It's good to see that he is giving you a refund, i have dealt with some shady people in the past. Japan2LA always keeps it honest.

When I read this, I took this as trying to invalidate complaints. Like you, I've had a good experience with Japan2LA but that doesn't mean everyone else has. This thread doesn't need posts vouching for Japan2LA. We know he is a heavy hitter and has been around for a while (as roller has already said). It doesn't mean he is perfect.

i know he doesn't need anyone vouching for him, nobody is perfect though. his money was returned, its not like he can tell the bank to instantly transfer that cash to paypal. Every business has complaints, people are usually to impatient and expect results instantly. That's usually impossible. Atleast every time i have done business with him he conducted himself in a professional matter. No need to get all but hurt over my opinion on things.

^What I don't understand is why was the money was spent or removed from pay pal before the parts were shipped! IMO the money is not your's until the deal is done meaning after you ship & the buyer get their parts! In no way I'm taking bad about Japan2LA.

ok let me chim in here...i bought rotor housings, turbos, power steering pump, motor mounts *im sure im missing some things on that list but bottom line is it was a lot of stuff* from brian....everything was shipped in a timely manner and was exactly as described...we ran into one problem with the rotor housing in which he sent me the wrong ones but that was taken care of and im now sending him the incorrect ones back....all in all i cant really complain brian took care of everything and the prices were really good
clifnotes:
-ordered a bunch of crap from him
-got my crap at good prices
-ran into problem with rotor housings but that was taken care of *patience is a virtue...and a luxury since my cars not going to see the chicago winter anyways*
-brian seems like a good guy to me

wow....really guys?
A moderator posts and asks that all of you leave this thread to the buyer and seller, and you all decide to run off with it anyways? That moderator asks people to stop posting about their experiences, because it will only cloud the issue and take away from the purpose of this thread, and you guys blow that off?
How's about you guys pay a little respect and attention next time? The moderating staff on this forum work hard to keep this place running for all of you and we dont get paid for it. We volunteer to make this happen, so I dont think I am asking too much for you all to show a little respect when a mod makes such a request.....if anyone disagrees, feel free to PM me about it.
In the meantime, this thread is closed. Thanks to Brian for working this out, but do take the advice I passed along, please. Some simple communication would have prevented this entire issue.
