Smeagol, what I would do is get in touch with his local police department. Get all of your stuff together, PMs, emails, receipts, and once you call the PD, ask to speak with a detective there. Tell him your situation and ask him to at least go out to the kids house to let him know that you're serious and that he'll be looking into the case. If you want to, you can go as far as contacting the FBI since this happened across state lines, though I'm sure you won't get much help there, this isn't exactly high profile enough for them. Couldn't hurt though. There are a lot more avenues to take, but that's what I'd do for now. You can even go so far as to calling his parents, as I'm assuming he's pretty young, and let them know what's going on. You never know, they may even reimburse you themselves or at least light a fire under his ***.

Heh, thanks for harassin'.. I already tried the local PD/detective awhile back with no results. The detective said he would talk to Chris, but obviously nothing came of that since it's been months now. The FBI most likely won't care either.
This show car apparently has some FMIC on it, so why can't he send me the removed SMIC as agreed? Doesn't make much sense. It doesn't take months to mail something.

What an ***! I'm going to make a couple accounts on that forum and just start spamming his section. I'm honestly starting to think that he scams people for a living.
Awhile back, Wanklin called him out about issues he had with the DSM crowd. He apparently did the same thing. And now, from the looks of things he's done with our community and is trying to move on to another unsuspecting one.

I had two deals out of dozens go bad and this wasn't even a MWB thing it was a personal part I sold and it got misplaced in shipping. I made right with all the people besides one I am trying to finish up now. Keep posting this **** I could care less. The guys who had the problem got their **** and it's over.
5 months...sorry that I don't just hand over cash when someone tells me they didn't receive somethign I sent out. I tried for a while to get Fedex to cover it. It's a $700 engine harness not something I can just get my hands on

Chris is stating that he either has, in once post, taken care of you. That he has, in another post, been in contact with you and it is worked out. Several people, including a mod and admin are all for you using their site to contact chris through but they want to hear from you not the other rx7club members that have been posting under poopchute. Several of their members are also curious about chris's past but he has piped in several times to say that everything has been taken care of etc. One of the mods even refused to close the thread, at chris's request, due to the fact that they thought it was a valid thread and needed to remain open provided no one is there just bashing chris but activaly trying to retrieve what is owed. They have however stated they wish the person that is out the money/part would chime in instead of people that have no vested intrest in the complaint other than helping a fellow member out.
As far as him (which he stated in the other thread again) saying he was waiting on getting his FMIC installed before he could send you the SMIC, his sig line has a picture of his car at a show and it has a FMIC in it. So either he just sets it in there for the show or it has already been installed or he is hoping by trying to throw blame elsewhere and claiming that the people posting shouldn't be since he has not done business with them. I personally think he is trying to keep on hiding out until you finally give up on this whole deal. I think you need to post there so he actually has to face the facts from the person who is out the money rather than the people that have been posting on your behalf.
Hope everything works out for you I'm sure its been extreamly frustrating.

Well, I got a few IMs earlier this morning. What struck me as odd is he states the SMIC I'm supposed to be getting is not out of the car yet, and the pipes have still yet to be made for the FMIC. The pipes are supposedly being made next week (although I seem to recall this being mentioned over a month ago). Also, isn't this car listed on eBay with a FMIC? Looks like the winning bidder may have a few surprises. I replied but have yet to hear back.

maybe its just me but that sure looks like a FMIC to me in this picture. can't tell if the endcaps are actually attached to anything or connected to nothing at all. He must just sit it in there during a show to make it look like hes got one hooked up. And its been almost 2 months ago since he originally said he would have the pipes done in a week. At this point it shouldn't matter if hes got the FMIC hooked up or not hes had plently of time and is still using your part, its about time he shipped it on out to you.

Mike, You really need to make a thread over there with your own and with the same username if possible and then link the thread here. Explain in the post that you are the one being screwed over and you want this resolved ASAP. We are all doing what we can, but it doesn't seem like you're tooo anxious to get your money back. This should not have dragged out this long ESPECIALLY considering the fact that he runs a business and does a lot of online selling, apparently. If I were you, I would've posted in every thread of every forum I knew he was visiting.
His car is up for sale in the Supra forum. You need to go point this out over there as well.
