Thumbs down Fitness Stain is a BAD seller.

He cost me $89.40, time, and missed opportunities on other cars.

I made plans with Fitness Stain to buy his car on February 17th. He told me he needed to finish rebuilding the clutch and slave cylinders. He assured me it would be done in time. So being assured the car was mine and that he would pick me up from the airport I bought a plane ticket.

He then posted that the sale was pending after he saw the receipt for my plane ticket. I confronted him on this and posted our private messages and he told me I was annoying.

I then compromised and said I would help fix the problem or take it broken for our agreed upon price. He refused to sell me the car even though he told me "its yours come pick it up".

Looks like you will never get the car now.... The 17th isn't even here yet. Maybe if you hadn't attacked him in the thread without contacting him on the phone/ leaving him a deposit to hold it this wouldn't have happened. Not sayin gI wouldn't be upset if I were you but you jumped the gun and dealt with it in public instead of over the phone or PM....

Hope you find something just as nice..

Uhhh, ever think that maybe he posted that the sale was pending because it was pending WITH YOU! From what little you've posted it looks to me like you shot yourself in the foot. Post up the PMs and lets take a look.

Like he said, he would refuse to sell it to you based on the fact that you are a DUMBASS. (as stated in the for-sale thread)

He said that he would not be in town, and the car would NOT be ready, and to not buy a ticket yet, but you went ahead and did it anyway...your fault.

I guess you assumed that if you had a flight coming in, he would just drop EVERYTHING and meet your needs, but again, as stated, you would have gotten a SMOKING DEAL on a VERY NICE TII. But dumb-assery prevailed.

I think this thread title should read "I am a dumbass/bad buyer"

Thats my .10, keep the change.

Wink The END. Someone else can buy his car.

It seems as though you Tennessee guys band together. I posted the PM's after he refused to respond to my private messages and e-mail. He also did not call me and refused to give me his phone number.

I bought another RX-7 and don't want to deal with him anymore. I just put out what happened to help out future buyers.

Calling me a dumbass is uncalled for. I posted the private messages on the thread you can read them again if you would like.

After actually reading the sale thread, it appears to me that both of you are at fault. He did agree to sell you the car and everything. But I guess you should have waited till he fixed the couple issues before buying a plane ticket even though it was supposed to be ready by the time you got there. The seller was also a bit dickish, especially for a guy in desperate need of selling the car to get out of debt...

You got a car from elsewhere now so congradulations have fun!

A seller is anyone who sells. By the same token that a builder is anyone that builds...just because YOU don't buy an engine that I built, doesnt mean I am not a builder.

i beg everyone who thinks im at fault to read the thread. he even posted the Pm's proving my point.

how is it my fault that he bought a plane ticket? i never told him the car was ready. once i found out he had bought a ticket, and then proceeded to accuse me of random things .. i got pissed.
im human ... theres only so much "***-hatery" i can put up with. I may have come across as a dick ... but I had to deal with a complete idiot.

going so far as to make a thread in here over me is childish.

Fitness Stain does not understand integrity.

You are funny.

Anything you said after our first two PM's was just a way to back out of the sale. I posted our those conversations over PM just to put it out there in sequence. I told you my story and offered a down payment. You told me it is mine and to come get it.

I just want to let people know you weren't serious about selling the car and clearly mislead me. You cost me $89 for backing out. It's so clear. I wish you could understand that.

I love my new car.

You tell me the best way to meet and you can have the 3900 you need in a week. Next weekend would be good for me to come get it.

that sounds excellent. next weekend i'll actually be out of town, but any time after that i can make this happen.

im getting the clutch master and slave cylinder rebuilt so you shouldnt have any problems what so ever on the way home.
let me know when you'll be available after next weekend

I want to get into the RX-7 scene. I currently drive a 2006.5 VW GTI 6 speed modded.

its yours. when can you come get it?

Exactly!

How did I cost you the plane ticket money? I want you to show me how its my fault that you bought a ticket without me telling you to... hell if you can prove that , I’ll refund your money that you wasted cause you’re stupid.

I hope you like your car ... the dude who is buying my car tomorrow is going to love a TURBOCHARGED rotary.

Face it dude ... you are wrong. You bought a ticket without me telling you to ... YOUR FAULT

why don’t you post the rest of the PM's showing me telling you to not do anything until I tell you to ... then show the NEXT pm you sent saying you bought a ticket ... and my reply to that pm saying you shouldn’t have done that ...

this is stupid ... you’re dumb for buying a ticket without my consent ... and I guess im wrong for not letting you fly down and buy a car that didn’t have a properly working clutch. And NO I wasn’t available to help YOU work on it because I work two jobs and don’t have much time ... this is going no where...

You know what ... im going to make a thread about you in here saying how much of an assbag idiot you are.

When I found out you did this I didn’t like it.... everything after that was you proving how stupid you are for doing such a thing ... sure I told you it was yours AFTER IT WAS TO BE FIXED. You were buying tickets and all this junk without the car even being ready.

You can post every email and or pm you want ... its not going to prove that im wrong. I started to get the feeling you were a dumbass after you bought the ticket (WITHOUT ME TELLING YOU TOOOOOOOO!!!!!!) and honestly I’d rather the car go to someone who isn’t so obviously dumb.

So essentially per the PM's that were posted, you acknowledged that you were selling the vehicle to him, he was under the impression that he was buying it and it was to be sold to him, as soon as he made travel arrangements to come pick up/pay for the vehicle, you turned around and sold the vehicle to someone else.

Am I right?

Was the vehicle sold to the other person for the same price or higher?

he made travel arangments on his own ... if he would have went ahead and used his ticket (which i didnt tell him to do) he would gotten to nashville and bought a BROKE car.

how is this so hard to understand ..??? i never told him to make travel specific travel arangments. he bought a ticket without me telling him to ... once he did that i realized this was a idiot ..
i sold the car to someone else for the same price, because they agreed to buy it ... and MADE TRAVEL ARANGMENTS AFTER THE CAR WAS FIXED

im sick of defending myself against some asshat ... christ ...
