Bought some Recaro RS seats from him that were not as described and damaged during shipping because of poor packing/boxing.

Will not call me or email me to resolve the problems and has robbed me of time and money.

Just got off the phone w/ Freddy. I had to call him so now I'm out the international call as well because he didn't want to call me at a about 1.50 a minute but he had no problem calling me twice a day before he got paid

He said he filed a claim and will send me a refund of 750 when the claim goes through and if it doesn't he'll still reimburse me. Personally I feel he should just send the 750 and let me move on which is how I handle these situations.

 

hopefully everything works out fritz...

just as an aside guys, if any body hears of any other sets of RZ recaros coming up from sale from the UK, can you please PM me and let me know..ive had a set stolen.

Freddy filed a claim w/ the shipper (approx 3 weeks later) but because I tossed the box there was nothing for them to look at however the seats were not damaged as a result of shipper abuse but because they were not boxed or packed properly and also according to customs were insured for around 400.

The seats were simply wrapped in plastic and he tossed them in together w/ the rails on the seats which I told him specifically NOT to do. I told him to box them seperately or take the rails off and use lots of padding if shipping them together. He said he always boxes them seperately with extra cardboard on the bottom side under the rails but like everything else he told me it was BS.

Freddy is not responding to my emails or offering any form of resolution so I have to assume he's comfortable taking my money and wasting my time. I also have reason to believe the seats are not even OEM Recaro RS/RZ seats so it all makes perfect sense.

Once again my time and money has been wasted by another RX7 brother

PS I'll call the local court house Monday to see if I have any legal resource to resolve this but I doubt it. If anyone has any ideas let me know.

Summary: Sent a wire for 2700 to the UK for some seats that were damaged in shipping and not as described and the seller refuses to take any responsibility or offer any form of resolution.

 

find his details and i personally am willing to fly to uk with you and make him a permanent resident of the hospital there.
i have some pics of his cars with number plates on. you can always file that as a way to track him down. And besides, he sent you the seats, If you still have the shipping slip you can always track his *** down
