fc3sdrift- Been weeks and have not received my parts, becoming very concerned!

Paid for an TID on the 8th of March, and it's almost a month later, nothing....Contact the seller several times, after two weeks, finally got a reply...said he was busy and would get the TID out first thing in the morning and refund me $5 for my trouble. Contacted the seller several times, but no reply, I see that he has time to post on the RX7 forum, but doesn't have time to reply to me. Needless to said....I'm still waiting. So buyers beware!!!

You agreed on the price, right? Why is it the OPs problem that you agreed on a cheap price for the part? You should've taken into consideration those fees before you made the deal.

If your going to sell products to customers, that should be your priority. Once they send you that money, it's your responsibility to get the item out ASAP.

Why should this thread get deleted? Although I wouldn't say your a scammer, it's important for other members to know the way you handle other peoples money and parts. Not making them priority after it's paid, complaining on a price YOU agreed on. I for one, wouldn't buy anything from you because of the way your handling this. He didn't cuss at you one time, he just warned that you could be out to scam someone (which is what I would think if I bought a part and a couple weeks went by with no word from the seller about if it's shipped or not) then you come on here and start cussing him out for it. You're the one to blame here. There is circumstances that may arise that could delay shipment, but that's easily solved with a 1 minute PM or e-mail letting the buyer know the situation.

This is the type of attitude that I will not tolerate with sellers on this club. Waiting 2 weeks before sending someones part out is unacceptable. I don't care if it is a 50 cent bolt or a $2k turbo. Once you take money from a member for an item you get it shipped out within a week max and even that is too long. 2-4 days is more than enough time to ship someones part out. And it is going to be a rule, a long over due rule that will be enforced that when you sell that you get the part or parts out in a specific time with a tracking number and keep in contact with the buyer if they inquire. If you can't comply with this then your selling privileges will be revoked!

I am so tired of this bullshit attitude of sellers and will not stand for it. You can't make getting the part out to the member a priority, then don't sell the frickin parts on this site!

It is your fault that he had to start a paypal dispute. If you would of gotten the part out sooner or at least had the courtesy of staying in contact with him maybe it would of put his mind at ease.

I caution you to keep the personal attack comments out of this also. I am removing your derogatory remarks from your posts.

1--good deal, doc...

there is no reason on the planet why any seller needs to act like they did the buyer a favor by shipping the part.

2--where I come from, "mint" doesnt mean that the clamps are all rusted, as shown in the pic you posted. Please describe your parts properly--this is another reason for many disputes here.

3--pricing is your responsibility. No seller needs, wants, or deserves to hear you whining about gas prices and whatever else--he's only buying a part, not financing your life story. It's a given that you will have to take the parts to the shipping place. Hell, in your FS thread, you even said this:

all prices are + shipping..i'll send them with fedex ground they are pretty cheap
And you have sold parts before, so you should have known what you were getting into. Thats on you.

4--paypal has this wonderful habit of not caring much about disputes when the sale occurred outside of ebay. They dont always do this, but many times they will actually tell the buyer that since the transaction didnt take place on an auction site, they cannot do anything about it. So, announcing that the fact you use paypal is supposed to mean something about your trustworthiness as a seller, well, it's really not an indicator of anything.

Just curious--when you blocked out the info on the receipt, why block out the tracking number?
ust curious--when you blocked out the info on the receipt, why block out the tracking number?
Why does anyone need the tracking number but the buyer, i don't need anyone messing with the shipment, or getting buddy's or my private information

I did take 2 weeks, I was really busy, i told the buyer that in an email and offered to return him $5 for the hassle and shipped it out.cuz his parts not there in a week and half he's gotta come on the forums talking ****

****I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PRICE, OR THE SHIPPING, OR THE PAYPAL DISPUTE!!!!, I'm pissed because i'm not a thief and when someone accuses me of being something i'm not it makes me a little mad

you guys are having a hard time grasping what has happened here ....you keep rambling about frivolous things

i had alot 2 do and working alot overtime, I didn't get it shipped out (**** happens) i didn't get a chance to msg him cuz like i was busy those first 2 weeks ,i got his 2 emails and replied and shipped it, log on yesterday morning i got THE FIRST PM FROM THE GUYS SINCE THE TRANSACTION (which is obviously a better way of getting ahold of me) it was from the middle of the night, so i checked my email and i had an email from him that night and a email from paypal.... so in the middle of the night the guy decided he would just do all that at once....nothin for week or so...then just come on here post this crap, send me a PM, send me and email, and a dispute with paypal, maybe he should have tried to just PM me first

not including the email and PM he sent me in the middle of the night Friday.....he had sent me 2 emails and they were replied to by me....

No you don't get it. We are not interested in how busy you are and we are tired of seeing this unacceptable excuse as a reason why the member had to wait so long. Everyone is busy and I have put many responses in threads in how to take care of these things but it looks like I will have to do a tutorial and place it in the new rules of buying and selling.

Have edited the thread title but did not really see a problem with his title. He stated possible scammer, did not accuse you of actually pulling a scam.

He was more than in his rights to post what he has. he did not attack you personally and stuck to the facts.

He in my opinion was protecting other members by posting what he has and also the fact that this is the Bad guy section and he has had a bad experience with this transaction.

The apology that is owed is to the member that has been waiting patiently for his part.

WOW! Didn't realized that this would FINALLY get a responce from you Derrick! You said that I've only send a few emails and PMs, how many emails and PMs does one need? If someone said that they're gonna mail something, I figure I'll give them a week or so, I'm not here to hund you with email and PMs, I've got more precious time on my hands. All I know is that I've waited about two week than I realized that I haven't received the TID from you, that's when I started to contact you. And you said in your post here that you would send me the tracking number, and this is few days ago, and I have YET to receive an email or PM from you on that. When was the part send? What's the tracking number? Did it arrive? If so, do you have confirmation? I'm not here to trash anybody's name, just here to make my experiences clear to the other buyers. Why does it matter if I'm a NooB or not? I'm a consumer and a deal's been made, money's been send, and no product. That's just the facts! Also, there's no need to make threats on the Paypal dispute, it will get you....Nowhere.

Thanks to the other members for seeing where I'm coming from!

I think it is interesting that youre talking on the 5th like you already sent it out, and all that, but this item wasnt picked up by FedEx until the 7th. You were talking about how "its out of your hands" and how it has to go through customs, "there's nothing more you can do", etc etc etc, when you KNEW it had not even left your hands yet! Here is some of the tracking info--

April 7, 2008

4:08 PM Picked up CAMBRIDGE, ON
7:53 PM Arrived at FedEx location CAMBRIDGE, ON
8:36 PM Left origin CAMBRIDGE, ON

As of 2:48 PM yesterday afternoon, the package was in transit, in Syracuse, NY, with a scheduled delivery date of 4/14/2008.

Your tracking number, so you have it for future reference, is 063714700085487. FC3SDrift--before you start having a cow, I got that from the picture you posted. If you look right at the very right end of the sticker you can see the last two digits that were written in, and the third digit(the 4) is easy to tell on the sticker itself, if you look closely at it you can see the left side point of the 4 that no other number has. Sorry if some of you think that I looked too closely at that, but it really seemed very odd to me that a seller whos sold parts before would use that excuse as a reason not to post the tracking number, and when I saw that the buyer still didnt get the email, I thought a closer look was a good idea.

Oh, and lets also clear something else up--you posting a tracking number in public does not IN ANY WAY give anyone any access to your private information, or to his information. I think you knew this, you have sold parts before. Putting the tracking number in only gives tracking information, the method of shipping used(international ground) and the weight of the box.

Hope it works out for you guys.....

Update...

The TID camed today, nicely packaged. But, it's missing the clamps and vaccum metal thing as shown circled in the pic. What happened??? PMed the seller.
As per seller, I should have a refund of $25 for my trouble this week sometime. I'll keep you guys updated.

Update....fc3sdrift full of sh**

fc3sdrift's full of sh**
Ok....fc3sdrift refunded me the $25 using his fiancee's (Shantel)account and the fund that he had sent was under investigation by Paypal later on, which tied up my account for weeks, I've contacted fc3sdrift, and he said he'll looked into it, and later on said that his fiancee just needed to verify her bank account, and told me that he was going to refund me an additional $15 plus he was going to sent the metal thingy that he forgot for my trouble, weeks passed...nothing, then one day I checked my Paypal account, and the funds that he had sent had been reversed due to "unauthorize transaction". So I was like...WTF!! Since the incidence, I've contacted fc3sdrift several times, and to this day, I haven't had a reply from him.

So.....forum members, buy at your own risk from fc3sdrift If you don't want to go through what I went through, STAY AWAY FROM fc3sdrift

I was lucky enough that I got my part, but after all this aggravation, it's not worth it!

Have a good one!!
