I was hoping Roller would help out with this, I pmed him about it a week or two ago, but I'm not sure he's in the business of bringing scammers to justice anymore..

Clint Tribble Information
I see you guys still haven't received your parts or refunds from Clint Tribble. He needs to be tracked down at this point and I would suggest legal/criminal action against him.
So how to find him? I did an internet search and found out his grandmother died about 10 years ago. The interesting thing about this is her obituary listed her survivors:
"Her survivors include her son: Bill Tribble of Fishersville; daughter: Nancy T. Heizer of Arbor Hill; brothers: Clarence F. Hudson of Halifax; sister: Virginia H. Graves of Norfolk; and grandchildren: James William Tribble, Carrie Leigh Heizer and Clint Wayne Tribble."
So Clint is her grandson and his sister and brother are listed as well as his parents. So I looked for info on his siblings and found out his brother James Tribble lives at the following address:
213 S Saint Clair St D
Staunton VA 24401
His telephone number is: 540-885-0684. I bet if you were polite, you could call the brother and get Clint's telephone or address info. For his sister, Carrie Heizer, her telephone number is 540-951-1025 and I would try the same thing for her. Call her up and say you are a friend of Clint's from the RX7 forum and see if you can get his contact info.
As for Clint, I did an Intellius search on him and came up with the following information:
A Clint V Tribble lives in West Augusta VA and has a home in Fishersville VA and has the following telephone numbers:
540.337.9800 and 540.949.0695. My guess is the last number, the one in Fishersville, is where our Clint (Clint Wayne Tribble) lives.
In addition, the search turned up two other locations for a Clint Tribble, Staunton VA and West Augusta VA, both of which are around the Fishersville area. The telephone numbers for these addresses are 540.886.8645 and 540.337.6785.
I would think a little more snooping with the above information will net you the correct contact with Mr. Tribble.
Good luck!

Do some research off of the info I posted and I am sure you will be able to track Clint down. You guys are all pissed off about not getting your parts or money back but you won't take the extra step off of what I posted? Show some initiative man and make this right! You could know exactly where he is today if you wanted and then could take this to the police. I would guess all of you have been scammed out of over $1,000 and that would be a felony.
add another guy scammed by Clint. He shipped some taillights i paid for (5 months after he received the $$) bt never sent the "brand new" defrost vents were supposed to be included. I tried calling him and it just rang and rang with no voicemail. i got the same line as everyone else, "I lost my job, blah, blah, blah." I sent payment about a year ago....

Hey david, thanks for looking him up for us. but honestly there are alot of guys out there that got screwed over by clint, and I feel for them. I myself got screwed. But I only lost $40 or so, so its not really worth legal action on my part.
ok, I feel the need to drop in with some thoughts on this.
For some time now, I have been dealing with scammers. Most of you know that I have been doing this in here for a few years now, but I have been dealing with this stuff for longer than just my time here, in other places. Here's the simple fact that each and every one of you who lost money to this guy needs to learn and understand---
A scammer will typically continue scamming until they get caught.
It may have only been $40 from your wallet....but what about the next guy? Or the one after that? Let's take a look at the reality of this mess...here is a list just from this thread of all the people who this guy ripped off...

That's 17 people, folks. And, let's also not forget Alex from Gotham Racing....so, at least 18 people. Two of them lost a total of at least $800 combined.....and even if the rest all "only lost $40", you're talking about another what, $640? Do you guys realize that this is well above grand theft at this point? The law generally allows, in circumstances where the thefts occurred in the same manner even if not in the same sale, that they can often be combined to make a cumulative amount of theft. This means, instead of saying "he only got me for $40", the law looks at it like "he stole at least $1,540 from several people by selling parts over an internet car forum and then repeatedly refusing to deliver"......
I would know, I was ripped off once myself on ebay. I lost $150 or so, but I found over 60 other people who lost the same amount in similar auctions listed by the same seller. She now has a criminal record as a convicted felon and was forced to pay back as many of us as possible, last I knew more than 50 of us got refunded. You dont need to have lost hundreds of dollars for it to matter, people. And think about this--he lost his job, right? What if his source of income right now is ripping others off somewhere else?
Let me be clear on this, I understand that life happens. Since 2005, I lost everything I owned in a hurricane, and had to have knee surgery. But all of my obligations were still handled. We had to buy a new house at a time when next to no banks were making mortgages, and when next to no insurance companies were writing policies. I had to take time off for knee surgery. And this was at a time when I was providing the only income for my wife and three children....needless to say we obviously survived just fine. Like I said, life happens. But what pushes this so far past the concept of "life happens" is the fact that Clint has promised collectively that parts had been shipped or "it will go out tomorrow, I promise" probably hundreds of times to you guys. And then, when Doc stopped allowing him to sell more parts, he actually got mad about it!
Bottom line, you all need to get together, put your heads together, and talk to the police where he lives. You have been given contact information for him at least four times in this thread--and very few of you even took the time to use it! We are here to HELP YOU where possible, NOT to do it all for you. Think about this qhole mess before you decide "it isnt worth doing anything about".....because your action could very well prevent someone else losing money the next time.
