bad transaction with member changjune85

recently bought a pfs purple box with an ecu.

original made him an offer of 75, he responded and asked if i could do 85. i said that would be fine but it would take a few days for my paypal to transfer the money from my bank (accounts not linked)

kept him well informed in the following week as to the status of my paypal and sent the money as soon as i was able.

AFTER the money was sent i recieved a rather rude text about sending it paypal via "for goods purchased" I told him that if he had wanted me to send it another way he had over a week to tell me. not that defrauding paypal is on the top of my to do list anyway. He stated that "i should have known better" whatever.

so a day or so later i get a real nasty text

"I sent the item, cost me 12 bucks plus ur paypal that charged me 11 bucks, I lost lot of money, plus giving u discount top of that. item gonna take lil over 10 days, enjoy. "

I'm sorry but did he not think that shipping was going to cost money? if it was a concern, he should have raised the price to cover the cost imho.

anyway i get the "package" today...

the packaging is beyond awefull, the ecu's are tossed in an empty box with one piece of brown paper on the bottom, the wires that go to the selector switch are broken off of the tabs and the hand held tuner is missing entirly rendering this largly useless. Shame on me for not double checking that it had all the necessary pieces to operate. Too much trust i suppose.
god only knows if the ecu or the pfs still work or if they took damage in shipping, How anyone could assume this packing was sufficiant for a delicate electronic devise is beyond me.

the seller sounds like a clown.

"should have known better"? sure, so you can't file a claim and send it back for a return.

if he's gonna be that arrogant/ignorant i would contact paypal and see if they can reverse the whole sale. sounds like he was shady for a reason, knowing you can't do anything with it or better, that it would get destroyed before it arrived to you. how could he not know it was going to cost nearly $10 to ship a box that size...

Paypal wouldn't charge 11 dollars.

It is 3% or $2.55...
