I just wanted to point out the 3 things that Google finds when I type in Mazsport in the address bar of my browser. Pure Awesome.

I would like to know as well. He owes me 750 bucks for engine parts I never saw. Small time compared to others, but still pisses me off.

Scott Glasburn was employed at MazTech owned by Jeff Gladish..Jeff is super cool, but does only OEM style work.

Mazsport was off Ulmerton RD. in Clearwater/Largo, Fl,

Try Google

Happy hunting.

ps: All you guys who got rebuilds from Mazsport for $4000 to $5000, all those engines were built by a crew of guys for about $600 each, just so you know!

Everyone down here knows this, its all the talk at the drag strip.

We watch Scott's junk, not even make a full pass without issues...lol

Scott builds all of the engines at Mazsport. Why would you even post about something you don't have a clue about. Who even goes to Sunshine anymore, and who owns these mystery Mazsport engine equipped cars.

I would guess you haven't had any work done by him, cause everything Scott touches is garbage.

I have know Scott Since 1999. At least YOUR giving him some helmet polishing.

Did you know this is his second shop? I mean 3rd...

Couple of hundred people race at Sunshine twice a week, with about 12 rotary cars... Let me guess you go to " Club 1320" lol Ricers gotta love em.

Later tool box!

You may have known of Scott since 1999, but you are clueless.
I am still waiting for a name of who else built engines. Who runs a Mazsport built car at Sunshine? That place is a holding cell for Pinellas Park. 3rd shop, you might want to count again, you missed some.I am not looking for a pissing contest, just wondering why people post about things they don't know anything about . I have to go and weld my diff mount, I am sure it will hold

The thing is that its not even about Scott. People should voice their opinion about goods and services to help inform other members with facts. If you think he is a dick, say it. I just don't see why people make statements that are untrue and lead people to believe they have this inside track to the facts. I'm not a fanboi or drive thru.I don't post because I don't care. I have several rotary powered cars and I'm always looking for parts, not drama or juvenile banter. You can call me all the names you want, but bottom line is your full of crap. Still no engine builder names or owners names of Mazsport built cars at Sunshine.

Scott built my car. The car was 95% when I picked it up, but it was a slow process. Just got tired of waiting so I didnt want to go back to finish a few odds and ends I could do myself. The car made real HP and the guy that now has it says it still runs well. I do admit I paid FULL RETAIL for the work and he needed progress payments as work was done. I have done alot of custom cars over the years and I always work out a payment plan based on real progress.

I think he did good work in the past but it seemed like he was more interested in working on his RX8 electronics box for turbo mods.

Great to Hear

My FD has been off the road 2 years since my court date with Scott/Mazsport.
Coincidentally 2 days after our hearing my oil cooler lines got cut. Yes they were low. But they had been low for some time.

Anyway, I "won". If sticking to the original agreement is winning + 5%.

But it took some legal work that most would have spent thousands on. Fortunatley I'm quite legally adept.

Nobody by Cam at Pettit touchs my car now. Just got back from getting it off the otehr coast from him getting it right, at least motor wise.

I think you are right. It appears he was doing the same thing to members on the RX8 forum. I almost ordered parts from him when I had my RX8....glad I didn't.

I was swindled for over $5,000 by Scott back in '03. Went public with the debacle in hopes that fewer people would have to learn of his character the hard way.

I made a break with Scott after seeing him in action on the dyno. It was clear he was learning as he went on my car - and the constant references to his relationship with Ari at Rotary Performance (he claimed they had some sort of business relationship, with Mazsport providing porting for Ari's race engines) should have been a red flag earlier.

In some sense, I feel fortunate that I caught onto his game before it became really painful for me. To the original poster - I am sorry to hear about the outcome. Hopefully you will find some satisfaction in the end with this.
Dishonest people have a way of getting theirs in the end.
Best,
John
