Do you think He'd want to sell the business? I'd kind of like to give it a go, and I use these parts as well.

Thanks for the info barnett87rx7 i appreciate it!! I am in aus mate.. Wont help me much unfortunately if it does arrive by xmas or new year it will be getting sold now.

The main point as stated by myself and a fair few members here in both post is.. same as the topic heading.. that shouldnt we be getting told this? Or at very least offered a different service at checkout. If had have known shipping might take 6 months i would have payed the 200 or whatever to have it expressed. No communication isnt good enough when youve layed down your hard earned. I bought my turbo and wastegate off real street performance now i know they arent in canada.. But they took a photo of the item being sent.. posted it and it arrived in 1 week.
They even took interest in my build followed up and offered me a discount for any other parts! thats great service
.i realise the business isnt big but atleast flick an email off and address thé issues with your loyal customers.

its half the point, knowing that he could have understood a little better why his stuff hadn't shown up and not confused it with it never being sent.

and s1rx I do know how you feel about the situation I just don't want to see a good name get slandered in the process. Sam is a very honest and down to earth person and extremely straight forward. And the fact that he hasn't chimed in here is because he's really busy.

I sent respeed an inquiry about the FD filler tube via email on 10/4 and heard back from him the next day. I wasn't sure if it would fit my application. I decided to just order the part and modify it if I have to. I let a week go by, and then sent him an email asking when he thinks the part would be shipped. No response. Sent him another email the following week. This week I left him a pm here and posted on the respeed forum.

I might try sending him a message through PayPal. Has anyone heard from him? Anyone in Canada want to call him? I might add Canada calling to my telephone plan and try calling him myself. I really want the part and don't want to get japan2la'd.

Thank you @vatland.

I opened a Paypal dispute. I'll escalate it to a claim if I don't hear from him in two days. Here is the message I sent:

Others have even tried calling via telephone and have been ignored. I would like the product, but have a feeling that I am getting screwed.

Here is the threads myself and others have posted in for lack of communications:

I got an email as well. He said he was waiting on material and he was supper busy, hence the lack of support. I closed my dispute as we exchanged a few emails. I'm more than glad to wait. But he needs to keep up on support to keep his customers happy. Hopefully it improves.

Aw man - I've been planning out my dream FB build for years - I finally get the FB and go to order all my parts aaaaand......

One week of calling the shop daily to ask questions / order parts, and nothing. I dont even get a voicemail box now - it just says hang up and call again..

I'm sure its just a matter of being busy / stressed / whatevs . But seriously - hire a time slip to pick up the phone and respond to emails. Can anyone confirm that in fact quality and service are still available - that its just a simple lack of man-hours?

I need to do the Rack and Pinion swap and suspension upgrade - but would like to finish the project this winter and not next If i can be assured that dude isn't totally a flake - I will still go ahead and use the online order cart. I by far prefer to chat with a person on the phone - establish a personal connection.

Basically I just want the assurance that if I place an order, it will actually be fulfilled. What's everyone's most recent updates? Parts come yet?

---

And for what its worth - I went through Robert @ RotaryShack. Slow response time, but i could call his cell @ 11pm for tuning questions / shoot the sh17. I thought he was a cool guy. Yeah a bit of a flake on turnaround time and had to call back to get all the correct parts sent, but never did anything to betray me as others seemed to accuse him of. *shrugs* I like to give everyone a fair shot.

I have still been calling and emailing and texting.

Nothing.

I have been trying to find someone in London that is willing to swing by and see if his doors are still open. I just want a reply. If he says hes swamped and its going to be awhile then fine. But i cant get anything from him.

I know hes listening to his voicemails because his inbox was full the other day then i was able to leave a message the other day.

I hope somebody gets ahold of him or gets their parts and gets an explanation because im getting pissed off!

I sent an email 2 weeks ago. No response. Sent another email last night. If I don't hear from him soon, I'm going to try to get my money back. This is ******* ridiculous.

Mother ****** deleted the lack of communications thread that i posted in on his forum, without replying to any of the questions or inquiries. I take that as him covering up the fact that he is a scammer rather than dealing with customer service issues.

Fortunately, some one else started a new thread and it hasn't been removed yet. Link - Horrendous Customer Service
