Hit or Miss with Corksport

On 6/20 I ordered a set of Tokico struts and their Power Series Header Back exhaust.

Got the struts roughly a week after I ordered, but the exhaust was still "packing pending" according to their tracking, I figured that they needed to weld everything up still but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. According to the guy I spoke with, the reason it had not been shipped was because they only had the resonators for the 3inch/80mm piping and flanges. I found this odd, I had ordered a complete exhaust and so it shouldn't matter because I'm not mixing and matching exhaust parts. If I'm using your complete system then why the hell would it make a difference?

I finally got the exhaust on 7/3 and was happy with the packaging, but I was immediately annoyed when I took a look at the "muffler" The tip seemed a lot larger than what was in the preview pictures and I really didnt want that "Fart-can" look, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I pull out the mounting hardware and was immediately irked that it wasn't stainless steel. Anyways went to install it and had a slight issue of getting the OEM hangars onto the "muffler" but otherwise the install was a breeze and was done by myself on the garage floor.

Started her up, drove her to the gas station and was happy with the sound at idle and cruising speed, but under any acceleration she gets so loud I cant even hear the "High RPM warning" buzzer.

The saving grace that kept me from going back to stock is that coupled with a drop-in K&N filter there was a noticeable power gain, plus I finally got the F*ing neighbor to stop making her 5 dogs howl right around the time I was sitting down for dinner.

I'm not too happy with them, but I should have 60 points, so I'll put the points to use and order something else. After that I wont order from them again unless I can view the product in person.

Tell them what? That I ordered a complete exhaust from them? The guy I spoke with knew I had ordered it and said they had everything but the resonator because of the issue with the flange. He then after spending like 10min figured out that the resonator would still work.

Tell them you didn't get what was expected or that you weren't happy. You should give them a chance to try to make it right. You never know right?
