ebay carbon fiber dash parts? scam?

has anyone purchased the 500.00 set of ebay carbon fiber cluster, shifter, ac control surround panels? jp_automotive was the seller. he had tons of stuff listed and tons of feedback. 96.6% positive. ive even googled and searched some other things they sold , but here is my issue.
its coming from china. the original email when i won the auction stated that item would be received between march 8 and march 18th. i won the item on feburary 11th. i had not received a email with tracking so last wednsday i looked on ebay and theyre no longer a registered user, so i emailed and got a fast response saying theyre having issues with there ebay account but my parts would be shipped in the next few days. today i noticed that the listing had been removed. i emailed twice today asking if they had shipped with no response. i dont wanna jump the gun and start disputing the charge with ebay , my credit card ect.. i guess i will give it until the morning before i take action. there were 10 sets available on the auction when it listed when i purchased mine there was 4 left. anybody on here make those purchases?

If its from China, its probably shipped via EMS so it might take a few weeks.

There is one factory in China who makes these and distributes it to others. I hate to scare you before you receive the pieces but if they are the same as the samples I've seen...not good.

The factory makes these particular pieces by hand. The thickness of the product is very thin and many of the mounting points were off on the pieces I personally saw. There are some products from China that are high enough quality to use...the CF interior pieces set I explored for import but decided against them based on the quality.

I'm hoping for your sake this has been improved as I did mention it to the factory as being the reason I would not stock them.

We'll see. Gotta be better than what I had, and there's not a huge market to choose from. I'll reply back on that as well.

Yeah, as well as the big stickers on your front windshield, but what does either have to do with this thread...... I'm not a big carbon fiber fan either but I couldn't find an affordable or available stock interior. I figure I'll get it painted if I don't like it, but every piece in my car was broke, this seemed the least expensive route.

I got the carbon fiber interior scuff plates from the same seller. No complaints on quality, fitment or delivery time.

$5 says your order got caught up in Chinese New Year - and the estimated delivery date was just automated and didn't account for that.

Anyhow, yes, please let us know fitment / quality. They look great from pics, although not exactly my style.

Putting the big sticker on my windshield enables me get parts at cost from my friend's shop, so it's functional

it also adds 15rwhp!

Lol, just giving you a hard time. Your car looks good, I don't care for alot of carbon fiber either. It took me a couple months to commit to buying it. Not alot of options, and those pieces in my car were all broke or deeply scarred.

well tracking says they are in the united states now, but looks like im getting jerked around on something else. i ordered some inner door lock covers from evo-r.net on feb 25th. received paypal receipt, then 2 days later received paypal notice that they were shipped and provided a tracking number. well the tracking number is invalid, i emailed atleast 4 times since then called and left 2 messages in two different provided telephone numbers, and even tried to instant message him on the yahoo im name they provide for "24 hour service" i still havnt received a reply.

I've seen people wrap the top of the cluster in suede because of it cracking and it turned out pretty good.

You ever get this interior from EBay? I had thought about getting it also.
