Bad seller Dead Bolt in North Carolina+

Beware of dead bolt, it seems that they have fallen to the dark side;

Need help from the forum members in North Carolina.....

cliff notes:

Ordered some items from Deadbolt for a subaru, in October 25th 2008, owner claimed to send to wrong address, re-mailed and never received, received an email from one of the employees in mid December claiming that the owner was in the hospital and that they would straighten out the problem soon, and that the owner told them to send it express, but have still not recieved anything.

In mid january got an email from the owners account saying that he was back from the hospital and that he was not sure if it had been shipped or not. when I replied that it had not been received I emailed several more times and started getting excuse after excuse. last email was in early feb, where I asked if I should look at this as a complete loss and he told me no that he was going to take care of it. They are not answering their phones nor emails as of now.

parts are as follows
16G straight compressor inlet housing,
18G compressor houseing straight inlet,
18 G compressor wheel, and two tdo5H rebuild kits
total cost 675.00 with shipping paid via paypal in October.

address:

Deadbolt Enterprises
387 Fisher Ln
Marshall, NC 28753
(828) 606-9104

its too late for paypal claim, but I am hoping that one of the members who lives close to these guys can go and find out what the deal is.

I would be willing to help search out parts here in japan for anybody that could help me with this situation. Even if it is nothing more than some communications from the owner. I want the parts or the cash, not picky about which.

Sorry to hear about that kenn. Ordering stuff from the states from within Japan can be frusturating at times.

So the last Contact email or by phone was in Early February?

I would suspect that if the owner was in the Hospital that quite a few other people would be having similar issues to yours about this time. Have you searched around to see if anyone else is having any problems with them and or if they had a problem but it got resolved?

You can't get your time back but hopefully you can atleast get your parts or money back.
