A couple of questions lads. Haltech 1500
A DPO specifically DPO4 is ground switch correct? Therefore I'm using the diagram on the left.
Where it says switch 12v must be common to switch 12v used to power ecu. Does this mean I need to splice pin B11 or can it be any switched live that is active at the same time as the one that powers the ECU. Splicing B11 seems strange.
Thanks.
I did try looking through the forum so if this has already been asked apologies.

Dpo4 is a switched ground, correct. You will not use any switched power, they want you to splice B11. You can also trace the source of B11 and go from there but they want "B11" to be the switched 12v source. Electrically you use "B11" but physically it doesn't HAVE to be B11 if that makes sense.

Hi Frazer
Whichever you think is going to be your easiest method is the way to go, both options you have described will work just fine.
Cheers,
