Water/Meth Injection on Stock Twins?

I know the concept...I know what it does...but what about our cars specifically.
Has anyone tried this? What are the dangers?

I know one of the kits I was looking at has a set boost limit...so for example...once I were to reach 9psi it'd be activated until boost drops from that 9psi limit.

Stephen at GMG & STOP-TECH said it'd be beneficial since Rotary's get so hot...but does anyone have experience? Seems like mostly single turbo guys are running it.

Example: Some kits have the nozzles going into the intake. Wouldn't this cooler charge potentially make us want to overboost?

I run a water injection setup on my seq-setup. The water has dropped my egt's significantly. Also the greddy elbow is now the coldest part of the intake not the cold side of the intercooler. I also noticed how much cleaner the turbo’s were for the water injection when I removed them for some routine work. I have mine setup to come on at 8psi with a 300cc unjector. With this setup I have been able to run 16-17psi with egt's that are equal or less than before the injection on 13.5psi. However, I have a G-Force ecu that has a conservative tune. Incase you are wondering my AFR's are 11.3 at 17psi from 5200rpm untill around 6500rpm where the ratios dorp to 10.5.

Shouldn’t have a problem however, the Pettit has a more aggressive tune so you probably won’t be able to run as high of boost. Also I would recommend a good monitoring system like a Zeitronix or something so you can see your AFR's, Boost, EGT's, Water injection pressure and more. That way you can determine what to set your boost levels at. Also it would be a good idea to have supporting mods and ceramic coat your turbo manifolds and exhaust to avoid heat soak.

When I was talking to djseven he suggested this mod to me as well, to achieve even more reliability with my build. What is a good unit to get for a twins set up? In my sig I have a link to my mod list if it helps.

where would be the best place to mount the jets? Would the elbow be the best place? Installing it pre-turbo would require 2 jets correct?

you could do 2 jets, or have an intake box with the nozzle positioned in the box close to equal distance from where each turbo would draw air in. (centered in the side of the box for instance)

I don't think the intercooler is a good place. If you change the system later its easier and cheaper to make changes to an elbow or pipe then to the intercooler.

i'm planning to run this on a stock twins on the FD. What jet size and at what psi level should I start shooting do you recommend? I will just be having intercooler, intake, downpipe, and catback. Also, would running meth/water (windshield fluid) be ok? I plan on putting the jets on the intake elbow, is one jet ok?

Stock injectors and ECU I assume? That means you really dont need A/I because you boost will only be around 10 PSI. If I were you, I'd spend the money on a PFC first.

stock injector, do have PFC. I'm not aiming at getting more power, i'm aiming at running cleaner and lower temps.

Prob just water would be ideal for your setup and only a low amount like 150-200cc
