ok, so i just finished welding up my tank to hold my water (or water/meth) for my kit. i made it out of stainless steel but i did not backpurge with gas while welding it. if anyone here has welded with a lot of stainless, you know what the other side can sometimes look like if you do not backpurge.

so i am looking for something to coat the inside of the tank with to ensure nothing contaminates my water or whatever i put in there. this will also help prevent contamination. stainless is good. but not perfect...

i have seen these coating that people put in steel or aluminum fuel cells. they shake it around inside and pour out the excess. so if it can hold up to gasoline, it should hold up to water. but what about pure meth, if i ever choose to run that?
