PWM system driven off fuel injector trace
I'm pretty new to AI, so bear with me if this has been answered.
I'm curious why nobody runs a constant pressure pwm system off a primary or secondary injector trace? In all the FAQs I have read so far there is always talk about a discrete parameter collection and injection calculation system.
Wouldn't you want the mass of water injected to directly correlate with the mass of fuel injected for a given mass of air? So why not take the really well calculated duty cycle for the fuel system to operate an AI injector off of and set the water injection pressure where needed? IE use the trace from the fuel system to control a correctly calibrated amount of AI is given for a set of conditions, and use a pressure controller to control the over all mass.

Aquamist even offers an injector duty summing module for RX-7's to calculate overall duty based on primary and secondary duties combined...
A lot of people have found successful results with boost controlled systems and see no need for more advanced duty controlled systems, others like HC go to the other extreme and have fully 2D/3D mappable water injection setups...
