New to water injection please help

I currently have a 86 rx-7 that has been swapped to a s5 t2 by "MWAH".

I currently have a full 3 1/2 exhaust from the turbo back that was on the donor car, also the turbo looks slightly larger than a factory but im unsure, I have installed a hks Bov and have a front mount that will be connected soon im in need of the Greddy compression tube b4 it gets hoked up.

i idle at around 800 and 15-18 vaccumn, I have hit around 14 psi on my Autometer boost gauge without a boost controller.

I dont know if my car has been ported bu i've had people tell me it has is. Also i dont know if i have a chip in the factory ecu. I only hit around 5 psi in 1st .

Ok Now to my question im considering getting A water/meth injection kit and installing it when my FMIC is put on. Will i need tuning for this or can i just plug and play. I planned on letting it start spraying at about 5 psi.

is there anything i can do to tel if i have a ported engine or if my turbo is stock? number casting on the turbo? Open the ecu for a chip?

The only way you will know if your engine is ported is by asking who ever owned it before you. typically ported engines will pull less vacuum at idle, but thats from from conclusive.

Tuning always yields the most power gains, however you will have a nice safety buffer if you run methanol/water injection.

We are in Georga (Norcross), I notice you are in georgia, feel free to stop by our shop if you are close.

You're heading towards a blown engine. Find your local rotary shop before you go into positive pressure again...

exactly what he said! holy hell you're probably on stock injectors and everything running 14psi??? it's called boost creep

water injection is the last thing you need to worry about right now

Don't use aviation fuel. It is not made to run in cars and you will actually loose quite a bit of power using it.
