Howard Coleman, do you know the operating pressure of the FJO pump, also RE: 100% DC

Did you get a chance to talk to FJO regarding operating their injectors at 100%? I have my setup working beautifully now with water (as a test case), but I can not setup my failsafes correctly without know the pump operating pressure. My failsafe is a map switch; if the pressure drops below a preset value, the map will switch. I need to know the operating pressure so I can set the value high enough so that a clog will register, but low enough that it takes into account losses.

thanks for the reminder.

i have been running my engine and dialing in my FJO AI system for a week. i also talked to FJO re the duty cycle question.

my car has been up in the air and will actually be out on the road tomorrow, monday. since i do monitor pump output i can tell you that it appears to be 120 psi. once i am actually underway i might have more data for you.

as far as the 100% duty cycle. the short answer is you do want to run 100% and it is fine for atomization etc. it is set so the 100% is max before any problems.

things should get interesting. i am driving up to Minneapolis friday returning sunday.... 660 miles.

Howard, I received confirmation from FJO that the pump normally operates at 120 psi. Also, the 200 psi pressure sensor is 0.5 volts 0 psi, 4.5 volts 200 psi.

See you on the road.
