I'm working on an RX8 turbo build. The current plan is to use a fuel injector and flow a ramping rate to about 900cc/min max water pre turbo with no inter cooler. I'm not looking for a preturbo injection debate or a no inter cooler debate, I'd just like any suggestions from people doing similar on the 7s. Any major pitfalls or things you wish you had done better?

 

No intercooler on a high compression RX-8 this is going to end well. But to answer your question... Wannaspeed sells a mechanical pre-turbo injection system which would atomize better then an injector... He can upsize the injector nozzle by request as well.

Thanks for the info, a mechanical air/water injector was my fallback originally, but there seem to be a few people running fuel injectors successfully here. A fuel injector gives me precise flow control and allows me to spray right down the throat of the turbo. Just looking for injector info.
