Coolingmist varicool trunkmount kit
Hello!
I recently bought a trunkmount coolingmist varicool water/meth kit from a member.
The item is used, but looks like it is in great condition.
I am concerned however, as after wiring up the unit (positive to switched ignition power, ground and vacuum) the controller does not seem to receive any power.
The controller (with the three ****, one green, one grey and one red) has a status light that never lights up when the unit is given power.
All fuses are good, and I have gone so far as to give it power directly from the battery.
With my laptop and a serial cable I cannot get the unit to connect.
My air compressor is broken right now (sent back after a safety recall) so I have no way of giving the unit compressed air but i tried giving the 5v in a few volts with no success.
Any ideas?
Thanks guys!
Chris

How about this. I am pretty sure the controller is burned out. Can I buy a vari-cool II controller and splice that in, instead of the vari-cool original that I have now?
