Hi all,

I have just bought a used Aquamist WI kit with the old style Race pump. Oviously with it being used i wanted to check it works so i primed it which was easy enough and tried to Hook up the pump, when i conected the Power and neg the pump started up? thats without what i assume is the Trigger wire from the switch? it seems odd and tbh i'm a little worred some thing is goosed in the Motor?

After having a look at the Instructions etc i don't see why the pump should be running without a ground to the Triger wire from the Presure switch?

Any ideas?

 

Mine is like that, If i unplug either wire on the pressure sensor the pump will run.
