Yes the HFS-3 can be triggered just by the 2ndries, but you'll be missing out on a key piece of equipment especially at the price it is on the GB.

All the summer does is work out the sum of both injectors and the resulting figure used to inject the perfect % of water/methanol. This being said if you're going to trigger always after passing 24% duty cycle on your 2ndries then u don't need it. This is because as soon as the primaries hit 50% duty the ecu switches the 2ndries on and splits the load 25% primaries 25% secondries.

As for fail safe I think it's the best there is on the market but I'm not saying there isn't anything as good or that suits your needs just as well.

I don't work for aquamist but I've been impressed by the depth of their systems and have ordered a HFS-6. I'm also on the list for the summer

Hope I didn't mess up as I'm no tech guy or anything I just wrote what I've been learning so anyone feel free to correct anything.

I'll take another summer, my tuner has a HSF-3 and this would make a great gift!

I'm having no problems accessing the site/forum. Looks like production of the summers are underway regardless of the 20 minimum that were required to kick off the group buy. I can add anyone who posts here to the list on the Aquamist forum. The summer can be used in conjunction with either the hfs-3 or hfs-6 kits. Please be sure to state what product(s) that you want. The initial batch of V2 summers will total 20 and more than half are spoken for, that being said-get on the list to reserve yours asap. I don't work for Aquqmist, nor am I asking for anything-just willing to help anyone who hasn't registered on is having difficulty in accessing the Aquamist forums. I live in the Seattle area, if anyone is interested in saving $ by bulk shipping let me know. -Matt

I checked both links and still unclear on what the total price is at the end aside from the "+" symbols next to the summer kit. So how much is it for the Aquamist kit plus the Summer?

I just shot Richard an Email. I am going to have to bow out for now. I just got hit with 2K in Immigration fees for my wife's renewal and if my car is going to see the track at all this year I have to make some serious cuts on my build.

I'm on the list for HFS-3 + Summer. I'm not sure if this is the right kit for my needs and if I should upgrade to the HFS-6 + Summer instead.

My setup:
2x1000cc primary, 4x1000cc secondary, 50/50 water to methanol, 15-20psi boost

All opinions will be greatly appreciated!

i'm running 850/1300's and Richard said that i dont really need the summer for my application, even with road racing the car. i gues since the injector sizes dont differ dramtically it'd be a waste of money. just thought i'd share with anyone who has the same setup as me.

The GB was more to show interest. Last I heard they were either selling and shipping out or at least being built.
