I hesitate posting because I'm only starting my research but would like to know if/when a FD specific kit will be offered and what it will include? Will it be a complicated kit with tuning capabilities or plug and play based off of boost and load/rpm? I looked at the one for the Subaru guys and am very interested.

Do you think your most basic kit will suit my needs? I thought about pre-turbo...but I am not so sure anymore... I definately do not want to do any percentage of alcohol due to cost, availability and track racing sanctioning body requirements.
I believe the basic kit gives you a good safety blanket without having to tune the engine to extreme. a percentage of 10-15% of water to fuel is a good starting point. M25:W75 is a all-round performer and stop the water from freezing. As regarding to cost, a 5-gallon tank of methanol will last you months at the suggested percentage.

Which part of the world are you located?

Depending on your location, a single stage basic DDS3 bundled kit is available from UK now. In the US, it will be after the hloiday. The third week of January.

The basic kit consists of (upgradable):

- DDS3v8 complete
- 3 jets: 0.8, 0,.9 and 1.0mm
- 150W Shurflo pump with 125psi internal by-pass
- Plug and play harnness
- Relay and set of fastners
- Tank adaptor
- Water level sensor
- 100um inline filter
- 6M of 6mm hose
- 2M od 4mm hose
- 2x Brass water jet adaptor
- Y-piece (4mm)

I assume FD means Fuel Duty?

If you want a system that will track and mirrors the secondary injector, it is available now. If you need a system to track and mirror the sum of primary and secondary, it will be available as a front end add-on. I cannot justify the cost of designing and developing a specific kit for the RX7 market for the time being.

Is there really a need to track both injectors?

Red face

I believe I have replied to both of you?
In short I am not here to convince you of my system or to sell you one, if you want it I will supply the kit to you, I dont have a web page (like someone asked me) and its just how it is. I do make an effort to reply to every single PM I get be it a good or bad one but excuse me if I dont try to convince you on my kit, its not my intention to push them as I do so many other things this is a low priority for me. Though I will try and help anyone who asks me for it even if there is no commercial gain for me

Now this is not the thread to go any further on that topic, if you like to order one you can PM me.

To answer Richards question, yes I use an air/water atomizer jet to deliver a very small droplet size, its all very archaic technology wise compared to what the king of WI makes but it works for simple set ups that require to go pre compressor.

Thanks for posting Richard. I have been reading what you have to say with much interest. The DDS3v8 looks way beyond what some of the others have to offer. I don't think I personally need to track the duty cycles, only boost. I'm not looking for more power, just a safer setup.

Anyway I'll continue to research things and wait to see the kit you mentioned offered in the US market. Even if I don't use all of the functions it offers I would love to have the gauge that integrates the flow reading, water level and indicator lights.

PS FD is a term that relates to the 3rd generation Rx-7. ;-)

Thanks pete.

You cannot beat the ability of a air/water atomiser for small droplet size.

I have started a thread to simplify all the myths about diifferent techniques to deliver water:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...21#post6466421

It may be useful to know some capability of each method so when you started to tune your engine there is some background information to ease the fuel map trimming task.
