AEM METH KIT + Water/Methanol Flow Sensor

Alright guys what’s up! So I’ve been using the AEM W/M Kit on the FD for almost a year now, and I have decided to install a W/M flow sensor to the system and link it to the modular ecu if it “ever fails” under load. Do I need the fail safe gauge for the flow sensor to work properly or do I just need the flow sensor by itself? If just the flow sensor, what flow sensor should I get and where from? And how should I install this flow sensor to work on the modular ecu?

You need the gauge and then program the gauge to use with your ECU. The gauge can be programed to give a triggered 12V signal or a ground signal when then system is not working properly. The flow sensor signal, a pump fault signal, and a float signal from your tank can be feed into the gauge.

I believe the gauge is what conditions the signal that is output for the ECU. It has all the processing information. See the video where DNA garage goes into it.
