20b 80mm turbo, water injection options!

Hello guys,

Looking for some constructive criticism on the new setup, thanks!

Last setup:

13brew, 550/1680, 67mm, 18-25psi, 480-525rwhp, CM7 - 700CC 50/50, stock coils, twin power.

^Clean power, ignition breakup only if I went lower than 11.0AFR

New Setup:

20b, SP, BW s480, ls1 coil/igniter ignition, r7420 plugs, 1680/850

My goal is to stay under 20psi. I don't need to make that much horsepower in the immediate future. Somewhere around 650-700hp will be good for now. GOAL IS SAFETY/LONGEVITY on pump gas.

I'm a huge proponent of AI after seeing how IAT's dropped like a rock. What size nozzle would you recommend ? This turbo should barely be in its efficiency range so I don't want to rob too much power with AI.

I was thinking logically, go up another 50% on AI. Somewhere around 1000cc? Will LS1 coils handle this amount of fluid and boost?

Thanks!!!!

I would suggest starting right where you're at. Add more if you see knock. (More AI than you have will likely hurt power a bit.) Ignition should be okay--just close gaps down a bit if you encounter misfire. I would highly recommend a failsafe for the AI if you don't already have one.

Yes, 1000cc, but honestly I haven't even used the car on over 12psi so its not even in action yet. It did however workout great on dyno, no misfire
