extra logger for SM4

Hi i just got rid of my vipec v88 and going for a Autronic route instead. but a big difference is that there is not so many signal in ports on the autronic. what kind of addons are you running to log everything? the sensors i have right now is

Trigger - HAL
Watertemp
airtemp
Oiltemp
exhaust temp front rotor
exhaust temp rear rotor
wideband
oilpressure
fuelpressure

running 6 injectors but will maybe in the future switch up to 8.

also having 3 ignition boxes:
1 MSD digital-6 for wasted spark on leading
1 MSD street-fire for each trailing.

I also want to be able to have 1 warning light signal output for emergency if oil pressure drops and stuff like that. (dont want extra sensors if i realy dont need them)

how do you wire this in the autronic? :S all i found were the 500r cdi box.

also i want the ability to hook up things like my tacho gauge and get some input on wheel speed so i can set the launch control or use a switch.

how would you wire this up? is racepak the way to go or would an old loggbox from innovate motorsports work? dont want an extra dash or something like that that i need to switch out my stock gauges for since im running 100% stock interior in my racecar

What I like about the Autronic is how adaptable it is. If you're not using Injectors 6, 7 or 8 you can use them as inputs, I don't know your engine and fuel configuration but if you're able to swap over to larger, higher resolution injectors that will give you more flexibility.

Many of the inputs and sensors that you're mentioning are logged by default because of the SM4s reliance on them to function. Heres what is taken care of:

Trigger (pins 25, 26, 40, 41)
Water Temp (pin 9)
Air Temp (pin 23)
O2 (pin 37)

That leaves 7 inputs that you'd need, the 5 you mentioned as well as 2 for wheel speed. I'd go this route:

HSI 1 (pin 10) Rear Wheel Speed
HSI 2 (pin 24) Front Wheel Speed
Analog 1 (pin 8) Fuel Pressure
Analog 2/3 (Pin 38) Oil Pressure

Here's where it may get tricky for you. As I mentioned you can change injector ouputs 6, 7 and 8 over to inputs if you so desire, this would limit you to 5 customizable injector outs unfortunately. If it were me I'd just go with a larger, higher resolution injector a la ID1000 or ID2000 injectors, but it is possible to daisy chain a couple injectors on your 5th injector out and use them as a pseudo 'batch fire' setup at high load an RPM.

I've used MoTeCs, Haltechs, and Microtechs as well as my current Autronic, at this point I feel that the Autronic is the most flexible ECU that doesn't try to nickle and dime you for every feature. Also, tuning it is an absolute breeze.

P.S. I didn't mention using HSI 3 in my example because I'm a fan of knowing exactly what my turbo is doing. I'd recommend on any car that is in development that you mount a wheel speed sensor to know exactly what your turbo is doing at any given time.
