Is a manual worth it?

Is a manual worth it?

Hey guys,
My current car is an 1990 AUTOMATIC S5 turbo convertible it's a jap spec.-->
It's got a 3 inch pipe with a Kakimoto catback, Work meister s2rwheels, Tein coilovers, and has recently been rasied (its now about 3 cm's higher than when pic was taken). It runs really well *touch wood*.
Ok so yeah my question is would it be worth putting a manual in? I was quoted around 3 grand australian. Is that about right? For everything. Is that to much? Any place anyone could recommend to get it done cheaper, and are there serious notable improvements gained by going to a five speed? Cheers!
