Hi all,

I have a JC Cosmo 13B. Stock standard engine which has been worn down over the years. Hot starting became difficult until cold starting became impossible. I have about 160,000km on the clock.

I'm looking for your opinions/experiences with rotary rebuilders in Auckland (or beyond if need be). I am capable of removing/reinstalling the engine if need be but a rebuild is probably beyond me unfortunately.

I don't want to pay big $$ for the worlds best rotary workshop but I don't want to be taken for a ride by some cowboy.

Your opinions please for a decent standard rebuild at a respectable price. (unless you can talk me into something more fun)

Hi,
My opinion from experience:
I would not go back to RX7-Heaven , even though its only 5 kms from my house. Others may have had a better experience with the work they carry out.

Green Brothers - Tauranga
I ended up going to Green Bros. in Tauranga , they are very busy looking at their Face Book notice on taking on new work this year, but they could recommend some advice on a good engine re-builder

dont go rx7heaven unless youre willing to pay $89 p/hr for labour and then have to check over all work closely yourself
