Hey Guys,

So I'm visiting friends in Sydney for two weeks and I've been quite excited about the whole trip, including the fact that I went and got myself an International Driver's Permit so I can drive while I'm there. Then I started thinking "Damn, I wish I could bring my Series 3 with me to drive while I'm there. That would just be awesome!"

Of course, I can't justify shipping my car there for just a week or two, so I had resigned myself to the fact that I'd be driving my friend's Mazda 121 or hiring a car for way too much money.

That's when I came up with this crazy idea. Does anyone near Sydney have a First Gen that they'd be willing to hire to a travelling Canuck? I'd rather give the car hire money to a fellow Rx7 owner than to some faceless company that will give me a hyundai *shudders*.

I came up with this way too close to my trip... I'd like to hire it June 8th to 12th

Anyone interested? I promise to handle it with kid gloves. I'll even bring my own metric toolkit, and return it with a full tank of petrol :-)

register on the auzzy forum , and post there. Im sure you will have a better chance as there is much more flow of local people.

2nd Note, Its hard for someone to lend out there baby like that, specially because you dont have insurance ( vs a car rental place sells you one ).

your best bet in my eyes,would be rent a ford falcon , or a Holden comodore ,

Im sure those will be available at rental places, and sure to pack some fun driving.
