Engine rebuild turn around time...

This is something I get asked from time to time and for thoes that dont know all ready here you go...

For thoes of you that are sending in your Core to be rebuilt the turn around time is about 1-2 weeks. Depending on how long we both play phone tag...

If you are going the exchanged rought {meaning I send you a rebuilt engine and you send in you core at a later date} that is 3-4 days before the engine is ready to ship out to you...

Shipping is usealy about 5-10 business days from when it leaves my shop before you see it...

Street Porting is $300.00 custom porting is also available too

Milling the rotors is available too for $300.00

Apex seals I will only use Atkins, Cermanic or Mazda seals...

ALL rebuilds go out with a 2year\2,400 mile Warranty and that even goes for thoes engines that are Street ported...

here is a link with the exchanged engine prices
http://www.atkinsrotary.com/index.php?pag=9

link for the Warranty for the Engine Rebuilds
http://www.atkinsrotary.com/index.php?pag=3

If you have any Questions please ask as I will answer as soon as I can...

I am confused on how the core charge is assessed. Do I pay the extra 550 on top of the 2850 or is that already added into the price?

FORTUNEBV :

For a 93 with a Street port you are looking at 4,900 + a 950 core charge..
the 4900 rate is for all new castirons and rotor housings..
If you want to go a cheeper rate that will be 1000.00 plus parts..

you can order a engine with out turning one in however there is a core charge..
In your case it will be better to rebuild your block, so what I would want yo to do is ship in your parts to me so I can see what I am working with when it all arrives..

If you do ship it all in please pack it to take a MIN of a 4FT droop in that way your parts should surrive the shipping beating...

how much for a "stage 3" equivalent with a race port, upgraded seals ( apex, corner, etc etc ), basically to make the engine durable aswell although i want to stick with the 2mm seals....

a quote would be great, i have a core but if you have one available to build from that would be a thousand time's more helpful!...

thanx, hope to hear from you soon....

just asking if that was the price.. i'll probably wind up just buying a rebuild kit and doing it myself i'm pretty good at it.. the only problem is i would probably send it out to get milled and ported

I have driven on both motors and nothing more than dd
