Camden Superchargers-Awesome Service!!

I just can't express how grateful and impressed I am with Andy and the crew at Camden Superchargers.

I purchased my 7" Camden Supercharger back in April 2005.

I posted this in my thread a while back. But want to show the history of Andy Atkins dedication to his product.

"I put together the Camden Supercharger and ported 13B 6 port engine built by Nick Van Nugteren of Rotary Reliability and Racing back in 2005. I was taking this combination to 8500 + rpm (rotary engine rpm) which is close to the superchargers 13,000 rpm limit (with 7 inch pulley). Eventually the supercharger lobes collided which each other and took out my rotary engine.
I was happy with the results of this combination but I figured I will have to invest a decent amount of hard earned income to get it back to its fomer status. Since I had to pull out the engine and devote much time, effort and money I decided to go for an easier way for me to get more power/torque. I converted to V8 in 2006.

I was always happy with the rotary engine and Camden Supercharger setup. But to get the best results for drag racing I had to take the ported rotary engine to 8500+ rpm. Anything can fail when taken to its limits. That's the calculated risk I had to take to get the most from my setup. The Camden supercharger lived up to its intended purpose but by pushing the supercharger to its outer limits and beyond failures can happen and rightfully so.

My experience with Andy and the Camden Supercharger has always been a very positive one. Andy went above and beyond to help me get my project finished and tuned with invaluable advice and tech support. He was always available when I needed the help. Which was a big bonus. I never felt I was alone on my own to figure everything out. I am very grateful for such great customer service.
Andy even rebuilt the supercharger at no cost to me - now thats great customer service !! "

This past weekend I installed my former Camden Supercharger on my friends FC. I emailed Andy of my excitement of once again hearing that beautiful sound that only a supercharger can make.
I haven't communicated with Andy in over 2 years.
Promptly Andy returned my email with his concern regarding reliability, that the factory direct fire ignition may not be compatible with the Weber carburetor and the Camden Supercharger, as this is not the conventional way most people approach the ignition solution with this setup. And offered to send a conventional distributor setup in an effort that this setup may be more suitable for long term reliablity.

Bottom line how many companies will go out of their way to offer such great service on behalf of their customers well being?? Especially since the supercharger was originally purchased in April 2005 and I haven't spoken to Andy in over 2 years!!

I am so glad that Andy Atkins, the Atkins family and crew possess such high standards of values that they practice in their family business. And set the bar that all businesses should aim for.
