Fuel pump wiring!

Anyone ever have problems with there Walbro 400 wiring getting hot? My fuel pump switch next to my driver seat gets so hot I can barely touch it.

What wire gauge are you using? Are you using a relay ?

It's hot with or without a relay. And as thick as stock wireing.

As thick as stock would imply your wiring is to small. The pump pulls significantly more current then a stock FC pump.

I would of assumed its relayed otherwise you may kill your ecu by putting 15+ amps through it.

you need to run 10 or 12 gauge wire to the pump using a relay. the ECU signal wire will trigger the relay.

if you have a fuse in the circuit do make sure it is a 30 A.

I will try thicker gauge. And if I'm not running it through the relay it runs of the ecu fuse block.
