Breathing apparatus with methanol?

I’ve been told that full body and facial mask must be worn when tuning with methanol.
Now I know that a full face mask must be worn, but a full suit? Surely that’s not correct?

you think that is something,

you should be around a NITROMETHANE car when tuning.

they takin about a flash fire, if super rich of unburned fuel , possible but not probable.

gasoline(petrol) aint excatly safe, under certain conditions

So i full body suit is recommended, I was told that the fumes from the methanol are so toxic that that they can be absorbed through the skin?
Surly a couple of hrs on the dyno wouldn’t require a body suit?

just get some methanol and try it!!

ive used methanol for 50yrs on certain race cars, and just put a fan to blow away the fumes.

its not a big deal!
