i recently did a modest amount of re-engineering on the Aerofiber wing and thought you might find it of interest... see post 264

Umm......to color match the car? Or is that like a lost art? LOL.
I know damn well I'm painting mine.
Uncolored body parts is kinda played out already.

I know what you're saying, but why not just buy FRP then? I think it's safe to say that people are not spending extra for the CF centerpiece just to paint over it.

Cuz CF is still stronger, isn't it? Well, I know it is if prepared properly, but I have really no clue in this state. I was never given another option anyhow

It's just CF overlay (which does make it somewhat stronger) IIRC, not a complete CF piece. No worries, people can smear crap on their pieces if they want, it's their part.

I bought my wing 2nd hand, but still brand new, so Thanks AreoFiber (and Fd3s4e) for a nice product.
Fitment was easy like pie. I bolted the wing together and installed in on the car an about 15 minutes total. No problems at all, and one more thing I gotta mention is that the quality of the carbon fiber is really nice.
I don't see one little flaw anywhere on the wing.

FWIW, I bought mine from another forum member who decided not to install it. I had it painted (just the FRP supports) and installed by a local body shop. Total, including sales tax, was $265 for the work. I have a Touring that did not have spoiler on it before. It turned out great. The shop was very impressed by the quality of the piece as well, and they see lots.

I bought mine 2nd hand, so I can't be sure, but I don't think it comes with a template. Hardware, yes, though.
It uses the stock mounting holes from a Touring wing, so could you possibly make a template that way? I mean, maybe you could find someone local with a Touring and do some measuring or something.
g/l.

Hello from Europe...
Just thought I'd sign up and thank Aerofiber for a top quality piece of kit. I bought this from someone in the UK still brand new, and it's just been fitted today. Bodyshop commented on how good the quality is so massively happy.

Do you know how many of these spoilers came over here? Be nice to know how special I am...
